Actually, it's Nebuchadnezzar, like the Babylonian kings.

And I had a hard time figuring out what was funny about this flash. Yes, I've seen the Matrix Reloaded, and I am a big Mario-fan, but I just didn't find the flash funny at all.

I do that when speaking Norwegian. I take English words, and Norwegianize them. This is because Norwegian is a very inadequate language, we lack a lot of good English words and expressions. E.g. we don't have no good word for "procrastinate", so if I want to say that, I'll say "prokrastinere", but that will only cause most people to look at me as if I am stupid...

Dear God, please, let's not bring this discussion up again...

My last birthday, being May 23rd, I got a trip to Florida from my hostparents and flowers from my parents (it ain't exactly easy to send gifts across the Atlantic, but you can always order flowers from a florist over the internet), a cake, and a t-shirt.

Whenever I'm home during the early afternoon of a weekday (in stead of being in school), I try to catch MacGyver (there's a channel which airs it around 2 or 3 here). I used to love that show, y'know.

Ouch, I feel your problem. Luckily, I have never had that problem, when I unwantedly have "sticks in my pockets", I'm quite good at hiding it...

At my school, we have to wear uniforms. Guys wear suits and girls wear skirts. Some girl thinks its hot to wear her skirt was up, and at times, not knowing what kind of position they are in, they're underwear are highly visible. When you see this kind of stuff everyday, you tend to simmer down when you just see a hot girl.

When you live in a country where nearly every girl dresses in a way that would make the average conservative Christian run to his Bible, you get kinda used to it. Seeing girls' underwear isn't exactly something you go "Oh my God" over around these parts...

It's weird, though, Max. The first days after I got back from Texas, I had almost forgotten all about how it is over here, and I had a lot of "Oh my Lord, what is she wearing?"-thoughts, before I got used to it again.

"Mega Mega White Thing" is in Underworld's Born Slippy, which was in the movie Trainspotting. (Great movie, great song. Gets you in the party mood ) I hear rumors saying that all the sentences in the lyrics in that song are actually snippets from conversations heard in different London pubs. Anyone know if that's true?

(Oy! It's SomerZ, not Somerz. Capital Z, damnit! )

2. I think the hologram in Quantum Leap was called Al, is that who you're looking for?

3. Taking a wild guess at Seinfeld?
3. (World Question) I'm guessing Pop Idol, and all the different worldwide versions of it (including World Idol)

5. The TV is Scottish, invented by John Baird, and the first channel was either CBS or NBC, I think. I'm going to go for CBS.

The brazillian people here are litteraly all "trash", by that I mean they think they are gangster, wear slutty clothes, and don't speak a word of English and act as though you're putting htem out by using it. They just started to pile into the state, and start to buy all the cheap property and leave it unatended. as a result, some fairly nice towns now have some large crap sections that look like no one gives a shit about what happens tot he property (and I'm willing to bet that's true. Just off of main street, thees a grey house. the front is grey with chipping paint, the back and one side are a bright RED, and the other side seems to have been replaced with an overgrowth of some sort.) Maybe I hsould have been more specific and said the Brazillians around here. But they act like (and this is no exageration) they are the fucking representation of their country and that they can just come in and do whatever the hell they want and not think about the people already living here.

You use exactly the same arguments as people around here do when they say they don't like Kosovo-Albanians. It still doesn't hide the fact that you're a generalizing xenophobe for thinking what you think about the Brazilians in your neighbourhood, just as they are generalizing xenophobes for their thoughts of Kosovo-Albanians.

I think he wanted to mention a show that was on after 6pm which was not a Reality Show, not realizing that blackfire's comment about there only being Reality Shows after 6pm was only a mild exaggeration. Besides, I doubt they get UPN in Australia.

And it really doesn't bother me whether or not they recycle a show. If I see a show and I like it, I might see the next season. If I don't like the next season, then I'll stop watching that show. What bothers me, though, is that it seems to me that Reality Shows are maybe going a little bit too far in breaking taboos to get viewers. At least further than I would like them to go.

There was a reality show in the UK, kinda like The Batchelorette in the US, where a group of guys compete for this one woman. At the end of the show, when one winner is left, and he is most likely in love with the woman and all, it is revealed to the competitors that the woman is actually a male transvestite.
That is going too far, if you ask me.

Round 9:

Question 1: The turtle is called Great A'Tuin, and the elephants also have names. It's Great T'phon, but I can't remember the rest.

Question 3: What do you get if you multiply six by nine?
(at least that's what Dent drew out of the scrabble-bag)

*The SomerZ bought himself the Kill Bill DVD today*

Not for Uma Thurman, though. But for the glorious, glorious film it is.
