I lived in Lubbock, TX as an exchange student for a year, but now I'm back in Europe, though. I have the Lone Star Flag hanging over my bed, though, and a whole load of Texas Tech University stuff. Lubbock is only 2 hours away, you say? That must mean you're either up in Amarillo, or down in Midland/Odessa, I guess? (unless you're in some city east of Lubbock?) That's right, kick that other paddle's ass! I haven't gotten too far. Managed to beat it twice in a row, nothing better than that. How 'bout y'all? |

Beer all the way. I love the taste, the smell, the looks, all of it. It's great whenever you're stressed, as well, to just sit down at some bar and order a glass of some kind of beer. It comes in so many flavors and varieties, as well. Of course, if all you want to do is get drunk, then beer isn't the best choice. Since I'm going to a party tonight where the main purpose is to get drunk (as all other "russ"-parties), I'll be drinking Vodka mixed with orange juice. Y'know, Kitten Yiffer, in most countries cider ain't alcohol-free (many ciders in Sweden have alcohol, as well)... Then you have countries like Britain, where they have Cider-on-tap, and you go and order a Strongbow, because you figure "it's probably beer, since it's on tap", and it turns out it's cider, and you feel like you've really been cheated big time... |

What's funny is, that while IKEA is looked at as pretty cheap crap in Scandinavia, it is actually almost haut couture in other places of the world...

Deportivo, Porto, Chelsea, and Monaco. Absolutely not the semi-finals I'd expect this year...

Where's the "I use a laptop with a little sensor-thing-area that you just drag your finger over to move the pointer"-option?

All sports can be considered dangerous, yes, because all sports involve physical activity, but, in the words of Mr. Orwell, all sports are equally dangerous, but some are more equally dangerous than others. I wouldn't classify sports like tennis or such extreme, though. However, jumping more than a 100 meters down a snowy slope at the speed of a car, while bent forward as much as humanly possible, wearing nothing but two planks to protect you while landing is what I would call extreme. |

It doesn't matter that you misspelled it a little, as long as the Z was capital.

I do not recall ever having said that... I demand a fair trial! Innocent until proven guilty! |

German Vodka? No, no, no, no, no... You've broken the first rule of vodka-drinking. Never drink a Vodka that starts with a W! I was drunk yesterday, as well. I was at a party, drank a liter of San Miguel, and half a liter of McEwan's Champion (darkest beer I've ever seen). Then I went on to drinking some Vermouth, before going over to the Vodka-Jello-shots. After that we went downtown, where I had an unknown ammount of beer at various pubs. Not enough to get me sloshed or anything, but definitely in a very good mood. As for first times. Well, the first time I got drunk, was when me and my friend were enjoying a quiet afternoon at his front porch. We had one six-pack of beer (4.5% alc.) each, I drank my six-pack, and got two more beers from him. I was not very used to drinking alcohol, so I got quite drunk. It's embarrasing to think of now. The first time I got sloshed (as in, I can't remember what happened after I got drunk), was at a house-warming party for a friend. He had a bottle of Norwegian Vodka, which I bought from him, and then drank nearly all of it. The last thing I can remember from that night is throwing up under the pooltable at a bar (which I didn't dare visit for months after the episode). I've been told quite a few things about what I did after that, but since I don't remember what I did, and I don't like to post slander (especially not about myself), I won't write nothing... Then, last thursday, was the first time I got drunk in the morning. Nearly all the seniors in school were going to Sweden (to get drunk), which is a tradition for seniors on the thursday before Easter, because shops in Sweden are open on that day, while shops in Norway ain't. I had half a liter of gin, which I started drinking at 9am, while I was in the car driving towards Sweden. I managed to finsih the gin at around 10am (before we got to Sweden). I also drank a whole lot of beer, because one of the other guys in the car had brought a 5-liter kegger of beer. After I got home, I feel asleep, and slept until nighttime. Then, I went down to the town-square with my friends, where the party was still going on (most people had gotten home from Sweden by then). It was really odd being there, it was the first time I was hungover during nighttime. |

As I wrote in my mid-term paper on this subject, there is no actual conflict between the two, and the whole Science vs. Religion thing is moot. Science explains the physical, while religion explains the spiritual. Thus, I will choose both. |

The subject was Norwegian. For our Norwegian mid-terms, we are given a pamphlet with a bunch of different information on some kind of theme. This year's theme was "Nature". Then, come mid-terms, we are given a list of question to choose from (where we pick one), and one of them was about Science vs. Religion, which I picked.

MegaMan should have been on that list, I say. He'd be able to garner enough votes to put up a fight, I say... Anyway, my list of preferred Gaming Characters is like this: Lolo > MegaMan > Mario > Link > Sonic So I guess I'll vote Mario, then... |

The Matrix was a great movie, but a horrible trilogy. If they had never made the two sequels, there would have been much rejoycing... |
