Heh . . I know nothing of ASM. I was thinking of trying to special world passed thing, but there would be a few slight problems with that: a) I would need to change all of my palettes b) How would I change it back to red . . I was afraid the only way to do this would be ASM . .I was also hoping I wouldn't have to revert to it, but I guess I have no choice, thanks guys |

Well, since it obviously appears that you know ASM . . 1. Make it long. Make levels long, but fun, maybe if you can, do what YI did through ASM hacking. Make 2 midway points for OMG long levels. 2. Custom OW graphics. Unless of course you already have them, I'd love to see some unique ones 3. Make puzzles. I love puzzle games (WOOT Tetris Attack) so if you were thinkinbg of adding new power-ups, make certain puzzles to get to secret rooms, etc. 4. Non-linear. What I'm doing in my hack, is making the first 3 worlds linear, then the next 4 non-linear. It may be better if you are stuck on a really hard level in one world, you can go "Screw it" and try a level in the other world. 5. Make an OMG creative storyline. Try making 3 or more message boxes through ASM. That way you could make a sweet storyline throughout your hack. 6. Be creative. Just think of crazy ideas, and put them in Hope these helped. |

Oh wow, I dunno. I LOVE that green water one. You can just feel the coolness in it. And now that I'm done being stupid: Dyna Forest: Looks great, but the space left of the pipe (cliff) looks awkward. Can you fix that? Bubbly Clouds: Nice, no problems here. I see you used the 3-up moon turned white for it. Milkyway Wishes: No problems here Good job so far. |

Luckily I wrote these down: Go into OW editor, Edit Colour and Palettes, and change these to the colours you want: Palette 1 colour D = the outline of the OW (the main OW screen) Palette 1 colour 9 = the yellow BG colour (this colour MUST match b7, or it will look ugly. Palette 1 colour A = items in BG + middle of Mario's lives Palette 1 colour C = Level name letters Palette B colour 7 = Background behind Mario This should be it for now - good luck |

If you don't know what the OW editor is - then you probably shouldn't start working on palettes yet. It sounds like you're new to LM - take some time, and practise making mini overworlds - once you get the hang of that, THEN start on the palettes. Most hacks, including YI and SMW, can only have music inserted through them through ASM or hex. Other editors, like Hyrule Magic, can insert music into the game itself (I think, anyway . . ) I think you will have to do a |

9 rows down, about 10 tiles right (to the left of the rocks-on-cliff thing) is the tile you need. Just flip it to make it fit. | |||

All you need to do ASM is a hex editor, and a ROM. I don't know it well at all, I know a tiny, tiny bit, but you have to know A LOT to edit music. There are some hex editors in the Commons, but the ROMs, you'll have to find yourself | |||
