The only posts I ever edit are when I release hacks and such, and need to change screenies. I have NEVER edited a post other than that, and I NEVER will. Like KATW, EDIT IS FOR WEAKLINGS!!

EDIT: Oh yeah, I sometimes edit when I release screenshots. But other than the two things I mentioned, I nev - what the? Dammit!

I'm not gonna answer this until someone shortens that damn thread title

You sure you've tried every virus scanner, Ad-Aware, Norton, everything? If you haven't I strongly recommend that.

Well, I know this isn't a ROM, so I can't see how it breaks the FAQ. If it does though, then please trash this. But anyways, I wanted to know if anyone could send me a save state of all the Yoshi's Island levels completed - preferably 100%. It's very hard to edit the Extra levels when I have to go through each of my levels trying to get everything. And it will make it a lot easier on me. If no one has a 100% complete save state, even one with all the levels up to 6-8 beaten without a high score would be fine.

Again, I know it's not a ROM, and just a save state, but even if they aren't allowed, then this can be closed.

Hey, this is still alive Yeah, after playing GoYo's hack, it encouraged me to make one. I hope you'll enjoy it, as I tried hard to make it good

Remember, a few glitches I already knew are the mid-way glitches (fixed, but not in that demo) Intro (still working on it) and the end battle (fixed) Enjoy !

At least you had some imagination - my levels were full of cement blocks

Those sound excellent RF Except the SMB-3 Boss Battle. Yours definitely sounds better than the original in my opinion, but I've never really liked that one to start with - ad yeah, the Culex battle sound superb.

Where exactly can I get the thing that lets you make MIDIS? They "sound" like they're fun to make (horrible pun intended)

Posted on 09-20-05 01:10 AM, in What do you want in a ROM hacking site? Link
Well, the main question is "What do you want to see in a ROM hacking site"? For me, it would be:

-more than one game (unless you have A TON of info on one game)
-screenies!
-example patches and downloadable manuals
-offsets of things related to the games.

Those would be all I would really need. Oh yeah, and to keep the tradition strong:

This is great! This has to be one of the most user-friendly editors I've ever seen in a long time, besides LM of course. I made a beautiful first overworld, or so I think. Great job! Seriously, very well done.

Umm, if anyone wants to see a pic of the OW, just ask . .

EDIT: Oh, I had a couple questions for you.

1. You know how in worlds like Grass Land and Desert Land there are only 6 levels? Is it possible to make more (like put a 7 and 8 icon on the map?)

2. I'm a lil confused about the pipes, and how they work. COuld you perhaps enlighten me a bit?

Oh, and what simply incredible thing did you do with the pipes that no other ROM hacker has probably ever done?

It's beautiful.

Way to go. And you even mentioned SMO again. Does that mean theres gonna be another demo soon? I really hope so, that was a really sweet hack.

Great job too. I hope you can make this into an IPS

Oh, I was mixing up pipes with pointers - I was reading the pipe thing, saw it only went to 2-6, threw a fit, then quit. But now my problems are over. Thanks

When you choose the pipes, and are picking which path the pipes lead to, it shows the levels - I saw it said 2-1 to 2-6, plus a bunch of other stuff- I figured the highest number of levels could be 6 in that world.

Never mind. I know it's confusing. I can't really explain it.

Wow. Those are really nice looking overworlds. Here are my first two:

Thank you! I'm happy you liked them! Right now, Water Land seems to be the hardest, just because of all the water.

My starting spaces and locks work correctly - I have already tested them. I finally understand pipes now - it IS confusing, but it's not so bad once you get the hang of it. Thanks again for explaining it to me.

What is this sky tower trick you've been talking about. It sounds like a shortcut

Sounds confusing, but I think I understand you. I'll give it a try tonight, and I'll let you know if I have any problems.

When I'm done my 9 overworlds, I'll probably make a new thread for opinions, so if you want to take a look at them later in the week, you may like them
