Is it possible to transfer a ROM/Hack to a SNES cartridge and play it actually on your SNES? I heard a rumour about this and heard a lot of people saying it could be done. Just wanted to clairfy. Can it?

No no no, I'm not having a problem with the scrolling - I'm having a problem with Layer 2 itself. It always says *Layer 2 is an image, use the Background Editor.* I want to make layer 2 that black screen (like in Vanilla Dome 1's second screen) How would I do this? And would that enable me to put those yellow bricks that when you step on them they sink? Thanks

After countless hours of busting my brain (not really), figuring stuff out all by myself with no help at all from this board (whatever), and never giving up (oh, bull shit!), the screenies of my first world are finally here. Super Mario World: The Thousand-Year Pipe - is crap. Crap that came out smooth, clean, and delectable!

The screenies for the first world of my first hack are below. Don't blame me if it sucks, blame someone else on the board Currently there are no shots of the overworld, but they'll come soon. So tell me what you all think, and what could be improved. I won't cry if anyone says it sucks, but compliments are always nice

Thanks =) yeah I couldn't figure out the switch palace tiles, since they gave me very limited option. I have one that goes like this though:

Pretty sure you just press pg up and down on the overworld editor, might be up and down arrow keys, but pretty sure its just pg up and pg down

Thanks for all the feedback guys - there is no longer a rope in level 1, and the switch palace tiles are *cough* mostly fixed. I'll submit more screenshots when I finish about another 5 or 6 levels

1. When I insert an ExGFX tileset into my hack, I pick a level to put in on. In this case, it is a castle level (you all know what castle BG looks like, right?) Well, as soon as i go into Super GFX Bypass and insert my FG tiles, the background goes WOWZA!! I mean, all the colours are garbled and messed up. How do I fix this? Tried changing background style and stuff, but doesnt work. And I want this level to be a castle!!
2. Lets say you're on level A, you find a pipe that takes you to level B. After you steal all of the coins in level B, and come back into level A, the screen SCROLLS to the exit. Like, if I exited to level A through a pipe in level B, and I come out of a pipe in the bottom half of level A, then the screen would show the top of the level then scroll down and show where I enter. Same with the main entrance. If I enter level A falling from the sky (like Vanilla Dome 2 - the water one) the screen shows the bottom then scrolls up and shows me falling. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

All right, I got my second question solved, but still trouble on my first one. I inserted my ExGFX on FG3, I left FG1 and FG2 the same, but didn't do anything with BG1. Was I supposed to?

It's not bad - beats mine by A LOT - like what you did with Forest of Illusion overworld - don't really like the special road, looks ugly, but the rest is pretty nice. Keep this up and revise a bit and it could become a good hack

What is the level address of the Reznor room? Made a fortress, and am at the boss door, but don't know which level to make it teleport to, since none of the boss rooms can be rendered. Anyone know? Also, after a fortress/castle/palace is beaten, i use the "Destroy level tile" setting, but instead of destroying the tile, my whole screen becomes all messed up, and Mario moves in random directions endlessly. Anyone know how to fix either of these problems? Thanks

Interesting, thank you got the reznor working, but I still can't seem to get destory level tile settings right. I set a path to enable and both events the same, but mario still goes nuts. Whats happening?
