I've got a half done program called Sprite Paint 3. Right now, it can show the tiles and palettes of the supported enemies. However, I'll probably have to rewrite it, since I'm moving over to C++...

Level ASM? Executes code depending on level number instead of palettes? Damn! I was planning on doing that!

Hey, I've got an idea. How about adding two unfilled circles in one of the corners? When you complete the level through the normal exit, the first circle would be filled in. When you complete the level through the secret exit, the second circle would be filled in. (If there's only one exit in the level, the second circle would be invisible.)

"When is Solar Soundtrack comeing out" threads have actually been quite rare lately... And that's not a bad thing.

I doubt that would ever happen, since the Snes haven't got a built in "Rotate Tiles 90 degrees" function.

Anyway... Wait... WHAT?! A- a- a new version of LM?

WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO FUSOYA?

Great. I'm a "?".

Using unicode, I'm "࠿". (I'm pretty sure that's not a normal ?, but a "char doesn't exist symbol".)

Since this most likely is the final version, would you mind answering a question?

Is there anything left for us to find in LM?

I've got an idea which I'm too lazy to do myself.

The "leader" describes a part of a cutscene from a game. The others then have to guess / find out which game it's from and where in the game it is.

Bad example of a description:
"Link and Zelda are standing in the sky. Zelda plays on the Ocarina of Time."
Better example:
"The man and the woman floats in the sky. The woman starts playing an instrument."

Clues to genre / console / game initials could be given after a few days of incorrect answers.

Example:
"A ship flies through a city while the main character talks to the boss. The main character then jumps out from the ship and lands on a roof top."
"Uh... GoldenEye?"
"No."
"SMB 1-3?"
"No. Clue: FPS"
"GoldenEye?"
"NO"
"Pikmin?"
"That's an FPS? Clue: N64"
"Pac-man?"
"...No..."
"Super Mario Sunshine"
"You people sure are stupid... Clue: PD"
"Potato Dreams?"
"..."
"oMG! i NOW!!!1 tEH MOVI FORM TEH FIRST LEVL IN pERFEKT dARRK!!!!111111"
"We have a winner"

Posted on 09-27-05 01:04 AM, in SMA2 support clue? (Not again) Link
I accepted the fact that there is no SMA2 support... Until I looked through 1.63 in ResHacker.
I found this:

"Okay. A dialog window for opening a GBA file in an emulator. So what?", you might say. However, the odd thing is that this dialog doesn't exist in 1.62. (According to ResHacker, that is.) It most likely shows that Fu has been working on SMA2 support, even if it's just a little bit.

Could this be something, or am I just crazy/stupid/moronic/wtf?

(Prepares to get 1000 copies of the last choice thrown at me for even thinking about posting this thread)

What should the ? be?
Note: Just saying the letter won't count. You have to say WHY the letter should be there.

If noone gets it, I'll give away clues.

0001010110 is the same thing as 1010110. (All zeros before the first 1 is unneccesary)

HH: Nope. Those 0s are the time and score added by the code. They're not in the tilemap.
Bio: That... haven't really got anything to do with the problem...

I tried looking for the code, but I couldn't figure out how to make a VRAM breakpoint in geiger's debugger...
