I've had enough. My last topic flopped, probably because no one cares about RPGs  Elmo, you can help with this or whatever... or not, your choice. This is the hopefully better sequel to the VG Trivia Quiz... ok, and... here's how it all works: Analogies will go in this format: A: B:: C: D Which would read: "A is to B as C is to D" One of them will be replaced with a question mark (normally the last one). A: B:: C: ? So, then YOU have to fill in that little question area with the answer. Here's a short example: Jak: Daxter:: Donkey Kong: ? The correct answer would be: Jak: Daxter:: Donkey Kong: Diddy Kong The connection would be that Daxter is the sidekick of Jak, and Diddy is the sidekick of Donkey Kong. Simple, eh? Same rules as were established for the original quiz, as far as guessing limits go. -1 guess per question every hour. -Maximum of 3 guesses per problem. So, the rules are layed out, so LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (1 pt. for each of these, btw) 1. NES: Kirby's Adventure:: GBA: ? 2. Sword of Mana: Devius:: Final Fantasy Adventure: ? 3. Super Mario RPG: Dr. Topper:: Paper Mario: ? Good luck, y'all! |

| Basically, the reason why so many suck is because LM is SO FRIGGIN EASY TO USE! Morons think they can make a super hack just because the editor lets them do pretty much anything. That satirical pic of LM with the "Do my hack for me" button isn't too far from the truth. People, the majority of you are rom EDITORS, not hackers. But there are a select few in the latter group that work on actually hacking SMW... but for the most part, since a person with an IQ of 50 can work with LM, everyone, including idiots, are making SMW hacks... thus, most of them suck... that's my take. |

| Checksum= security guard for certain parts of the program it is meant to protect, in short. You can hack them though so that you can alter the protected part of the program |

| Or perhaps... its the fact that its being played on an emulator... I only play DKC2 on my SNES, so I wouldn't know, but I will venture a guess that the emulator has something to do with it... that glitch certainly isn't in the SNES version. |

| Back when I still played LL (ah, the good ol days) I remember my only shutout... oh man... it was great. I struck out like 5 peoples! Funny thing is, my control wasn't superba. I was throwing high... a lot. And they must've all thought they were Sammy Sosa! Anyway, 6-0 win, I gave up 3 hits and 2 walks and had 5 K's, and I still have the ball from the last out in my room! On a different note, today I saw a high school game that was SO close to having a pitcher pitch a perfect game. Bloomington North's Anthony Lindsay was playing against the #1 ranked team in the state, and he went into the 7th inning (last inning in high school) with a perfecto... it started raining a little hard (it had been drizzling on and off the whole game), and then someone hit what seemed to be a routine pop fly... problem is, the outfielder slipped on the wet grass, and the ball dropped... and they called it a hit... he ended up giving up another hit (an infield single), but then got the other three outs... 2-0 win (the 2 runs came off of a homer in the bottom of the 6th, btw). But he was three outs from a perfecto... that had to be heart-breaking... and luckily for us, the night game of the double header was rained out... I bet if anyone else was pitching besides Anthony, we woulda been crushed! (I was a spectator on this one, not a player... but you know who I was rooting for) |
