| Googie, a lot of Hex programs allow you to make tbl files. Lots of games have different text styles, so they might all need their individual tbl's... Basically, you hafta mess around with it and try to find text data in the game you're trying to hack. And then once you find the text, you just make sure you always have that tbl near ya! | OMG LIEK MY CHIELD 8 MY KATT BEECOZ HEE LURNED 2 SQISH GOOMBAS IN MARIO! I SUE NINTENDO! Ok, but in all seriousness, games are violent and/or sexy because those two things sell... a LOT. And making money is what almost every industry is all about. And the ESRB rates games, telling people not to play certain games not suitable for them or whatnot. It is the retailer's fault for not like, carding kids who are 14 and wanted to play games rated M, not the game company's. Anyway, similarly (or not so similarly), the violence in those mature games are meant for people who can handle that kinda stuff, and um... how does using a controller teach you how to use a gun? Maybe, just MAYBE, if the person was demented, they could get away with saying that they were taught to be violent by a game, but um, games don't teach you how to use guns. | You can always just use the "Bubble Bobble Plan" for your hack: Make the intro: "Now it is the beginning of a fantastic story! Let us make a journey to the cave of monsters! Good luck!" Next, make all your levels. Then when you beat the game, have the credits roll immediately so that we never know what the story actually was. It worked for Bubble Bobble, should work here! |

| The problem is not the demos; it is that there is a demo everytime someone adds one enemy to their game. I would like to be teased with a 1 world demo, and then you can release the rest when you're done. What's ridiculous is that people release 50 demos, so when the final version comes out, I've practically played the whole damned thing already. | |||

I dunno what or who the higher being is, but I believe there is one. Now, oh my, this might be hard to understand, but the higher being allowed for evolution! OH MY! BLASPHEMOUS! God wouldn't allow for evolution! He created everything by himself! Er... well, Higher Being X may very well have created everything, but they evolved on their own. So, that's my belief on this in a nutshell... I don't see why many people think it has to be one or the other, and can't be both. |
