| Just recently had to reinstall windows because of a virus or something. Basically, the problem is loading the start menu and task bar. It takes about 5 minutes to load x.x. Im running a p4 2.4ghz. I find that once the start menu is loaded, and i go to programs, then put the mouse on any program folder that DOES NOT have anything in it, it slows down the whole computer and pretty much nothing will run. After about 5 minutes it works again. I tried removing these problem folders and it came up with a cyclic error or something like that. I managed to check the properties on these (again after about 5 minutes) and it said it took up 0 bytes. Anyone got any ideas? (Running Windows XP (no service pack)) Edit: Suggestions BESIDES reinstalling or running a different OS. (edited by Bola on 04-07-04 05:32 AM) |

I've got a 3530 thats currently gone back to the shop because of all the glitches/errors it has. Hopefully i get a new model  I had the tetris theme as my ringtone (polyphonic) and sephiroth walking into fire as my background display. |

My father has gone back to Vietnam for ANZAC day. He runs tours of the battlefields but this tour is always a special one for him. He was a soldier in the Vietnam war, and my grandfather was a POW at a japanese camp in WW2. |

This series would have to be my favourite of all time. I got the whole thing on dvd (pirated, omgsueme). It's great, I find myself watching an episode every week. |

Likes: The detail, descriptions behind each soldier, the whole atmosphere of the book (deep in the jungles of Vietnam) Dislikes: I wanted it to be longer!! (i suppose 666 pages is long enough though )Last book I read was Citadel, another Vietnam war book about retaking Hue. My dad is a Vietnam veteran and has plenty of books so I read through one whenever I get the chance. | |||||||

The admittedly few times I've ever actually gone in one, no matter what the interest was, it wound up being a whole buncha guys bitching about some stupid thing or the other. Never any fun. Gave me a headache. After trying two or three different IRC chats, I just stopped going to all of 'em.
