Yes, I did it by hand with notepad to insert the bytes I needed, and gold finger to edit them. My compiler doesn't understand the concept of imm8, only imm16. I don't have super sleuth, do you think geiger's SNES9x debugger would work? From the code, it seems to act like block 0x130, the concrete block, when 7E0076 is not 0, but I have no idea why it'd crash like that... I'll see what SNES9x says in the morning...

I'll look at the trailer tomorrow, since it's a little late here right now. Yeah, SMW trailers don't take long at all, when it comes to video capture and all that... I should make one for COTMK 1 *runs off*

Ehh, how do you know it is invalid code? Could it simply be handler code, and I'm quite sure that the address given is in SNES LoROM format... What code is executed?

You had to? What are your TD&TMW, TS&TSW, and CGADSUB settings? I never ran into that problem when working with transparency settings on level mode 0x1E.

Um, you could just set a block that acts like block 25 except when mario is holding the Y button, at which point is overwrites Y and onbe other RAM address... $1649 I believe, which alters the acts-like settings mid-level. That does mean you can't run through the block though, and if you try it'll look a bit wierd. That could be fixed in an ASM hack for the controller ASM.

Well, the code calling the routine doesn't give a damn what goes on in the code, so long as Y isn't affected, or the block will remap. When it comes to execution breakpoints, how do you work them? The're the one thing in the debugger that doesn't make sense to me, because I can't figure out which format to use. I shouldn't worry about ME doing anything wrong though, becaue the code is inserted via an external progam made by jonwil. Getting two consectuve breakpoints on the entry would be a little difficult to detrmine, since the code would run every frame, which it's supposed to.

Which version are you using? The mari ohead is in the row of little buttons right below the file/edit/level/etc bar. Also, to make the bullet bill shooter actually shoot, you need to place a bullet bill shooter sprite. To do that, either click the koopa shell and yoshi button on the bar, in that order, then move to the generators tab in the sprite inserter dialog, and select bullet bill from the list (you may have to scroll down a bit). If the buttons aren't there, find the shell equivalent under the edit menu, and the sprite inserter under the editors menu.

Add 01? well, AFAIK the SMW LoROM map starts at $80:8000, no $01:8000. did you try reversing the byte order before using LA?

incredible trailer, but in one of the scenes, link walked up and on of the ground tiles' priority looked to be messed up, link was walking under this one square of ground. Vry nice otherwise, just try not to run into so many walls next time

huh, this is a strange one. I had it where after beating one level, a fortress, and after then saving and reloading mario would have to use a pipe and then warp back again in order to be able to take an exit tile without it glitching. Anyone have any good ideas why it does that?

When Fabio came down on the second mario, the first one had continued his course, and was now quite close to fabio's back. hit by the hammer, the second mario was sent into the ring, taking fair damage, before jumping up through the mat on the other side of the ring.

Thanks. I should I need to worry about subtracting the header though, since Lunar address takes that into consideration when converting PC and SNES addresses.

Fu, if you're not doing anything other than bugfixes, why not hand off LM to someone who'll take a more active role in it? Lunar hasn't been updated in a while, and well, there are a lot of things where lunar is behind the times and not currently up to snuff.
