I've got ripper blast and mirror slice on, and even though ripper blast is probably at tope profiecency, he uses mirror slice all the time |
 (I'm playing through Rena's scenario, and Claude's always on AI unless I need him to use an item or hit a specific enemy) I find it much easier to control Rena and pick which spells she needs to cast, rather than letting the AI cast fairy light when I only need cure light. being careful with her mp and trying to keep her from moving her around for decent stamina at the end of battle has saved me alot of times. When she did die and I switched to someone else to revive her, the AI would cast whatever healing spell costed the most at that moment. Which can be annoying when she's running low and you really needed her to restore/revive someone else  The rest of my team consists of Claude (I didn't know about the Eternal Sphere and sold Sharp Edge together with other outdated equipment when I needed money) and Ashton as my enemybait/stallers and Celine to soften them up or finish em off. She's always on use up all mp and they're both on protect friends. The first because that's the only way she'll actually use the best spell she can vs the correct enemy, and the latter because they'll keep the enemies away from my mages and use their moves at the same time. I don't like Dias. It might be because he didn't gain any levels from the first time he fought with me, or because of his arrogance, but I just like Ashton alot better, and he did a much better job at Dias' level than Dias did. As for your tips: 1. I already know that, but I decided against maxing guts and courage in favor of other stat enhancing skills. I'm somewhat at a point now where I have alot of skills maxed out and am maxing the 'leftovers', and for alot of characters, that's either guts or courage <<; 2. I found that out when I was cooking with Rena and she unlocked sense of taste. A nice bonus, but I just don't know if I really want to go all the way with each character, especially since some of them have a 0.something chance of learning a partical talent -.-; 3. I got to this place on Ashton's sidequest, but I only got Ashton after I already went to Lacour. The enemies outside of Lacour give similar experience, and that's where I gain some levels. 4. As with everyone's skills, ne? You could say that Celine's spells get better as she uses them more, too. I do like that touch where skills actually show that they get better as they get used more (i.e. Claud's ripper blast covers a fairly big area and reaches higher, Celine's southern cross spell has more stars in it that come dropping down, etc) 5. I read about it, and I might go for it, depending on how my team's doing when I reach Fienal's last save point. They're all late 70's at the moment and somewhere after defeating those bosses in Fun City. I haven't read a walkthrough yet, but I assume I'll be heading towards the end dungeon soon. 6. Doubtful I'll be doing that yet. I don't feel like going for lvl 200 or so really XD 7. And I didn't even need that many <<; I really have yet to find a use for Noel. He just sucks at everything <<; 8. I maxed it as soon as I read the description. It'd be nice if it was Claud's or Rena's starting skill, that way I wouldn't have used up skill points before getting it Effort is a pretty neat skill too, but I'm a bit in the dark as to how much it reduces exp needed. 9. I already was arounf 40 when I reached it, and the music made me slightly annoyed, so I got out of there after the boss fight (which seems to be optional  )I'd like some more leveling tips, given that I'm near the end of the game and don't know wether I should advance yet or beef up my levels first. I was thinking about the Field of Love, because I encountered a cube there that splitted up lots and wasn't too hard, but gave over 100 000 exp. I'll just need to equip my fighters with poison checks this time around The mages there are annoying though -.- But if you have a better overal suggestion (I encountered it only once. I hope it wasn't a one time thing, but I rather not risk it :/) And what level do you recommend to go into Fienal with?

Given that I'm somewhat anxiously waiting for my aproval so I can finally start school, I'd probably go even if my intestines where running out of my ears. In former times, I don't think I ever skipped as many classes as I did during my short time at uni. But they didn't have forced attendance, so that might be it too <<; I's a bit of a toss up, really. What's the point in doing anything when you're too tired to think coherrently? But on the other hand, what's the price you'll eventually pay? -.-;

I went to Fienal yesterday and got my ass handed to me in the boss fight at the entrance. |
It took me 3 tries to a) figure out that there was someone able to 'eat' my fighters (if I control Rena and the action is more at the enemy side, I don't see much of it); b) my levels were close to 80, which according to several guides was alot higher than recommended (66, which I find insanely low); c) my equipment sucked ass. the best armor I had was on Rena, those robes you find when Chisato drops her business card. So I read through what kind of preparations I had to do, and the first thing I did was steal from the bunny. Claude + bunny shoes + might chain + atlas ring + reflective armor + pallas athena + mirror slice = death to bosses in about 5 minutes. depending on wether he can corner/dizzy them straigth away or not. I went to the fifth floor savepoint, and now I'm just walking back and forth between the first 5 floors. I've yet to use any items, and the exp in this dungeon is prety good (I meet those green lizards and that bird alot, both net ~40 000 exp and are fairly easy to defeat). I actually like the chances of meeting those two alot better than chasing those cubes, because I'm really speedleveling. Not to mention it's actually alot safer than Field of Love, because I've yet to meet more than 2 wizards here. (Getting dark flare on you 3 times or more in a row hurts.) Levels are all close to 90, but I did notice now that Celine is becoming less and less effective. Whereas her multitarget spells used to save my butt all the time, she's just prolonging my battles now with the lengthy animations of her spells. So I switched in Dias (he was still on lvl 35 XD) and gave him equipment that nearly tripled his stats. I think I'll have him up to a respectable level later today or tomorrow, if I feel like it. I started leveling him in order to be able to win some of the higher rank team battles, since Celine kinda dies in those <<; About the AC; I don't think I'll ever get that much :/ Like I said earlier, my fighters all have reflective mail equipped, and it seems that's the best I can get untill I hit CoT. Which will still be a long while <<; Or is there a way to beef em up like that? The funny thing with all those item creation skills is that I tried some of them as a novelty and just gave up on it 'for now'. I like the battle system alot better than reloading when I have a failed attempt. Even though 90% of the time I'll succeed with them, it's timeconsuming and sometimes just too boring. And they only get useful at the second disc anyway, it seems. Kinda like unlocking talents, such as Rena's sense of design (still don't have it --; ). I didn't bother with it on the first disc because it can take so much time.As for the 'hidden' item, I'm obviously already too late...

Demand a compensation for it, that's the least they can do. They as in that roommate and person who stayed in your room, not the landlords. Though the next step would be contacting them and explaining to them you couldn't use your room yet because someone else was staying in it on your unknowing back.

You could compare this kind of anime to drama series such as Days of our lives, but somehow, it doesn't give me a huge headache when watching it. |
The drawing style is very nice and clean to look at, with very good use of colors to convey the mood. The characters are animated decent, and the voice acting's good. No one has a voice that makes you want to scream. The music isn't anything too special, but it fits the series and usually only strengthens the mood. The story itself is something that could happen to anyone, fairly simple, but brought in a very fitting manner. A summary: The whole thing starts off with Haruka, a normal girl who's in love with a classmate of her best friend. They slowly hit it off together and do some couply stuff. It gets clear pretty fast that Haruka's friend is kinda crushing on the same guy, but wants to be the better woman by hiding how she feels and leave it at that for Haruka's sake, even though she does come on to him every now and then when Haruka's not around. One of such ocasions is her birthday, in which she drags boyfriend ( I suck at remembering names, so bear with me) to buy her a small gift. He notices he's getting late for his date with Haruka and rushes off, only to find out something terrible happened. The series then makes a jump to the future, 3 years later (which is the present time), to show how every character is dealing with the event that changed the course of their life 3 years ago. I don't know why, but this is something I highly recommend watching. All of the characters have something that makes you feel for and with them. Boyfriend, who is sort of the main character, can drive you insane with his stupid choices and ways of dealing with things. But if you see how he spent the first of those 3 years, you'd want to comfort him, and some of his choices and actions become more understandable. Haruka's friend is the character I sympathise most with. she gets the mental beating over and over, and frankly, I'm surprised she hasn't commited suicide yet. Haruka's younger sister goes through things in such an understandable way that I don't think she could've been created any better. The two waitresses that work at the same place as boyfriend are supposed to lift the sometimes very serious mood. They tend to get annoying, but it seems atleast one of them is getting fleshed out a bit more at the episode I'm at. (9 out of 14) If you are intrested in watching this, beware that the first two episodes are not up to the standard of the rest of the series. If you greatly disliked them, it gets better, and if you really liked them, it gets alot more serious. Keep that in mind. I don't know if it got licensed, nor under which name if it did, but since fansubbers released it about a year ago, it might be hard to come by. At any rate, this is enjoyable eyecandy at worst. (I found out today that this is based on a hentai game, or atleast, the characters are taken from a hentai game. That might explain the pictures you find regularly if you look for em XD)

I assume you have similar weather to what we have here (though I suspect your winter will be more mild, given the presence of a shitload of water nearby), which, continueing in that assumption, leads me to you having a fair chance of atleast 1 sunny month per summer. |
'sides, beaches are nicer when it gets colder, they just seem to have a better atmosphere during fall and early winter.

Save for the last 3, that's my entry from last year. Sadly, I had some booboos in the laundry, both recoloring my bra's and undies to some kind of mintgreen, and disforming the bra cups. (that kind of bra is called a t-shirt bra and has a preformed soft cup. you're not suposed to put it in the drier, I found out the hard way <<; ) In worst case, I'll enter those again, since I haven't changed much. Except for my 'sixpack', that got more visible this year. errrr. Now, who raises me men-thong? To anyone who can't see the obvious: I took these pictures myself, which was annoying. Hence the somewhat weird angles. The best moment to do this is when everyone's out of the house; you quickly throw off your clothes, take a shitload of pictures and hope for the best, and then quickly get dressed again. I think I had over 20 shots, most were waay too dark to see anything. and I think that was for the better, actually XD Just trying to say you can easily do this yourself without anyone knowing. Raistlin, it's actually cheaper to just buy a crappy cam, because they tend to charge alot for a photo cd, or they oblige you to also develop your pics. At any rate, this is just for laughs, so don't feel too bad about yourselves if you enter and are ashamed to death, or if you can't and feel like you're missing out. Might want to check things out a bit better next time. I don't have an opinion on the the game itself, since I can't afford it, it still has to be released here, and I probably never will try it, because of the insane cost. No online game can be worth that kind of money.

Did you customize blockquote and links, or left them at the board's default? If you did change them, could you demonstrate it please? I like the way your picture overlaps your text area. the colors match together, and that alone is a big plus around here lately <<; and the 0's he's probably refering to is the hex value for your font color. You should always type that out fully <<;

Alrighty then, here's my comments/advice, take it or leave it. |
* when your layout is at its smallest, it looks extremely cluttered. You basically have too many images that don't form a whole in there. it reminds me of a less bad version of Erkdog's layout. When looking at your bio, your layout is way too high for the (sample text). (due to the images stretching it vertically) * b/w and color image don't mix well in most cases. * the bordercolors of your textbox absolutely don't match the rest. especially the blue border. *personally, I'd get rid of the bright pink logo and one of the other images, to make the layout more tidy. *if you insist on keeping the logo, switch in the better quality one you have in your bio, because this one is awfully fuzzy and visually icky. I didn't know something in 3 colors could be that XD in this case, you should also consider making your font smaller, to make up for the default heigth of your layout.
