| I never thought I'd find the damn thing in these parts, but SO2 actually got released in Europe, it's just that no one knew <<; I've been following SO3 news, being happy it'll have a 2 player mode and all that, so I was glad to find out the previous game was being sold second hand for really cheap here, and since I don't have anything better to do, it's been fun. The game comes with the most awful manual I've ever read, not explaining even half of what you should know when starting out the game -.-; The private action crap is just scrolling through more text for me, so I just kinda skipped that altogether, only to find out now I'll be missing a decent character. Oh well. Another thing that bothers me every now and then is the steep difference in difficulty; you'll be fighting things you can kill in one blow for shitty experience, and in the next area, you level up after every battle, if you survive, because the least damage you'll receive is atleast half your hp. I see why such a thing would happen to my mages, but not my fighters when they're equipped with the best buyable stuff.. It sucks, cause they have to go up and close to do damage. No one likes dying, especially not in a random encounter -.- I'm playing through Rena's scenario, cause she looked nicer than the fluffy hair dude. Is there any use in going through the game through Fluffy's scenario? I read it's basically the same story from a different PoV, so I'll pass up on instantly replaying if that's the case. I basically would appreciate some handy pointers and tips and such, because this game has so many different things to level up and do that I get a bit insane when I seemingly screwed up again. Like for the skills, does it really matter who learns what? which stats actually matter enough to develop? (so far, I've just stuck to stats I could guess what they did, i.e. int for mages, str for fighters, etc.) Any fans or know-it-alls here? <<; |

I've played it a bit too much, but I can watch that intro over and over again. So damn good. Am I the only one who greatly dislikes the music in Balamb Garden and Fisherman's Horizon? That music litterally gives me headaches -.-
