| As the Lizard Bros. zoomed through the air, a mountain came into view. Speeky was the first to notice. Speeky: Hey, guys, isn't that the mountain we saw on the doctor's camera? Spiky: Yeah, I think it is. It's awfully big... Speeky: I suspect trouble ahead, so everyone keep a sharp e - d'oh! Speeky suddenly reeled backward, as if he hit something with his head, and teetered at the edge of his hoverboard! Spiky, who had been flying close behind, crashed into his brother, and Spaky into he, so all three lost their balance and fell to the ground below! Spaky: Gah! What was that thing, Speeky? Speeky: I think it was Karry's invisible camera! You know, the one that flies around! Spiky: What do we do now? Is this the end?! Speeky grabbed his brothers with each arm, and puffed into the shape of a balloon, slowing their fall significantly with his super floatiness. Still, by the looks of it, they would be in a lot of pain when they hit the ground, if something else wasn't done... Luckily for Spaky, Spiky, and Speeky, they fell just into the view of Schwa's gang, if any of them were paying attention (not that it was hard to spot three big, colorful, falling lizards). | Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm a sophomore this year. The next thing I have to look forward to is this fair that's held every September. They have rides, and food, and all of that fair stuff. | Yeah, life is pretty short, and its starting to freak me out. Just a while ago when I was looking at my N64, I though, 'Its been nearly ten years since Mario 64 was released, but I remember all the time I spent playing it back when. And ten years was a long time to me, then.' Time seems to go by faster, as you get older. I know why, I just don't care to explain it. |

| (This is in the right forum, isn't it?) I just noticed now that whenever I post something, my text goes through tables, and the background doesn't tile - but this is just with Firefox, it appears fine on Internet Explorer. It used to look all right before, and I haven't changed anything in my layout... is it just coming from my end, or does it look weird to Firefox users too? I might just have to get a new layout... bleah. Edit: Well, I'll be darned... the moment I checked to see if it would goof up again, it looked fine. | Kyle walked into the cafeteria, followed by Blue Breegull. Kyle: Things sure are happening slow around here... I can't remember the last time I had battle, in the tournament or outside of it. Blue: Yeah, how about me? I've only had one... and that one wasn't played fairly. Kyle sat down at a table and pulled a lopsided sandwich, which was wrapped sloppily in foil, from his pocket. Blue struggled to sit in his seat, but gave up after a few attempts - it clearly wasn't made for bird legs. Kyle: Hmm, maybe there's something we're doing wrong? Intro's too long? Not enough action? Blue: Probably just bad luck. It'll pass after a while, don't worry. As Blue was looking around, he noticed a flier set up, saying an open battle was being set up - against Kyle! Blue: Hey, isn't that your's over there? What are you doing eating, when you should be in the arena? Kyle: I don't remember making an open battle. What the heck? After inspecting the flier, Kyle got up quickly, and made his way toward the arena that he was supposed to be in... what was going on in there? | ...Right, well, I guess Zerodius is gone for a while or something. But this RP must get moving! I'm done stalling for now. --- Cyberaptor continued his pursuit against Phantron, but soon found that she was at the exact opposite side of the Nightmare Weed, and it wasn't about to let him get by. The only way to stop Phantron would be to kill the monster. Cyberaptor: All right, fiend, you've provoked me enough! Die, now! All three of Snipe's shots hit the Nightmare Weed, but it didn't seem to notice the bullets. Still intent on hitting Cyberaptor, it swung its scythe quickly, but once more narrowly missed him. Cyberaptor activated his jet pack, and flew to the Weed's height. Cyberaptor: I see you have a natural weakness to fire! A device below Cyberaptor's right wrist extended downward. It was oval shaped, with one red end and one cyan end. Once it rotated so the red end was facing forward, Cyberaptor used the device to shoot a blast of fire into the Weed's head! The ten pirates all attacked in unison with their firearms, glad that the Weed's attention was pulled from them... at least, they believed it was. One of its thick, thorny roots lifted from the ground, and smashed two of them! The two survived, but only just. --- Cyberaptor: 80 / 80 Pirate 1: 10 / 35 Pirate 2: 5 / 35 Pirate 3: 25 / 35 Pirate 4: 30 / 35 Pirate 5: 10 / 35 Pirate 6: 35 / 35 Pirate 7: 20 / 35 Pirate 8: 20 / 35 Pirate 9: 30 / 35 Pirate 10: 35 / 35 Nightmare Weed: 915 / 1500 (edited by Invader Pie on 09-03-05 07:26 PM) |

| With Cyberaptor's jet of fire, and the three fiery bullets that Snipes shot into its face, the Nightmare Weed squirmed in pain, randomly waving its claws and roots. One scythe hit Cyberaptor out of the air, fortunately with the flat side, but it still damaged him a bit. Cyberaptor landed just next to Snipes. Cyberaptor: We're going to need more than fire to get rid of this thing, Snipes! Let me scan it for more info. It's a complex creature, though, so may take some time. Cyberaptor's antenna unfolded and emitted a green beam, aimed at the Nightmare Weed. Yet, it hadn't been on it for more than three seconds, that the Weed's bud started glowing a strange green color... a few moments later, a neon beam of energy shot a hole through it, from the inside out! From out of the hole jumped Jackson, holding his Radio Ring out in front of him. From the trail of neon energy it generated, it seemed that the ring was responsible for the energy beam! Jackson joined his men, unaware of Cyberaptor and Snipes behind him. Pirate 4: Cap'n, you're all righ'! We thoughts you was dead, when you was eatin'! Jackson: Keep fighting, men! The second key is inside the Weed's bud, but it's too hard to get while it is still alive - there's a few more layers of armor. Kill it now! The pirates all fired at the Nightmare Weed, and Jackson used the ring to fire a neon beam at the Weed's stalk. Meanwhile, the Weed got busy. With one scythe, it extended its reach to hit Snipes - with its other, it smashed and killed Pirate 7. One root grazed Pirate 1, bringing him even closer to death. Also, the Weed shot out its three tongues; one wrapped around Pirate 3, one around Jackson, and one around Cyberaptor! In two turns, they would reach the Weed's mouth, where they would be horribly devoured! Cyberaptor: Whoa! Snipes, don't worry about me; I can get myself out of this. Try to exploit the plant's weakness! --- Cyberaptor: 70 / 80 Pirate 1: 5 / 35 Pirate 2: 5 / 35 Pirate 3: 25 / 35 Pirate 4: 30 / 35 Pirate 5: 10 / 35 Pirate 6: 35 / 35 Pirate 8: 20 / 35 Pirate 9: 30 / 35 Pirate 10: 35 / 35 Jackson: 70 / 80 Nightmare Weed: 806 / 1500 (edited by Invader Pie on 09-06-05 09:21 PM) (edited by Invader Pie on 09-06-05 09:24 PM) |

| The Lizard Bros. safely landed inside Schwa's windy cushion, and recovered from the plummet after a few moments. Speeky: Wow... good thing that tornado was there to break our fall. Wait - didn't I hear someone make that? Spiky: It was probably one of those guys, on the cliff! Spiky pointed to Schwa's party, who just disappeared from sight over the cliff's edge. Spaky: Hey, this is our investigation, not their's! Boys, we've got to secure that site! Spiky: How about we just investigate quietly? We don't need to bring attention to ourselves any more than we did now. After all, we don't know those people. They might not be good. Speeky: But they saved us, Spiky. C'mon, let's go thank 'em.
