I was playing on-line. My buddy was being a jack ass during the CTF. We were down 3-2. When the enemies were just about to win, I got bored as hell, grabbed their warthog (hijacking rules) and started mowing them down. By chance I clipped the flag bearer who was just about to walk through a door and he died. I saved us the match. But, when we played again, I grabbed the Spectre turret and killed all my allies \m/ I love team slayer. |

I'm just saddened with the passing of my beloved vintage Dot Matrix black and white printer. It was truly a beautiful piece of work, it kept going after all the (sexual) abuse I put it through...Printing off pornography just to see how funny it would look on that printer. But this is a serious intrusion into people's privacy. And it should be rectified, because if private finance documents are traced through some database cracking, people could easily increase the amount of identification theft there is.

The bombs aren't given names beyond their yield. The largest US hydrogen weapon ranks at a hefty 21 megatons. The Russians have claimed that some of their bombs yield up to 50 megatons, but the largest explosion to date has been 38.6 megatons. A big boom to be sure. But in reality, there is no need for any weapon of higher than 21-30 kiloton range, as that is still 2-3 times as powerful as Hiroshima, and dropping two of them on any city would cause immense damage.

Although not an FF game, the best setting for any game is a tie between Panzer Dragoon and Gun Valkyrie. The former a world where people ride around on rail based dragons that fire lasers in a bid for world control. The latter is about a group of people that are just plain awesome and how Hally's Comet has been used to harness power for the world, so colonization of Mars has occured in the late 19th century. |

My main beef with the Celeron is that it well, yes, it sucks. No other way of putting that. It isn't even a discount card, it is like a 15 inch cock slapping you in the face, yup, that's the Celeron for you. |
But that is a MEGA budget PC. If you plan on doing anything more than relatively basic gaming and other "lesser"  computer functions...yeah. It won't stand up to the next generation of PC games. I'm pretty sure that a PC like that may be better than mine, but it is still barely going to crap by with games like WC3.If I could go back in time, I would've thrown down the extra 300 for a better computer. But I guess I can't now. And well, you're smart in going to a modern mid-range video card from ATI, but I'd suggest going higher. Try for the 9700 Pro. 150 bucks and it is a beaut. As for OS, bug the people to give you something better, I use XP home. I honestly think that it tries to spit in my face. It really hates me. I'd have to suggest going Pro on your PC. Linux is a little too hard for a layman to operate effectively enough and you'll probably have some compatibility issues, etc. I'm trying to start running that OS right now myself, but it is a difficult process  Edit:: Fear the MOBO on that thing, it sounds like they ripped it out of a 286 and brought it closer to the times (edited by Ziffski on 11-22-04 04:54 PM) (restricted) |

Even though this isn't everybodies cup of tea, I've found that some of this new age bull plop seems to work. Well, at least the reasonable stuff. I'd really suggest Tai Chi and meditation...drinking tea. Those sorts of things, god knows they've saved me from a stroke or two. |
