| Majora's Mask had an awesome ending. I spent days trying to beat that game. Then I get to the end, and it has this awesome plot twist! The screen just stopped moving. I was like OMG LINK IS THE MASTER OF TIME! Then I realized that the N64 overheated and locked up. Either way, cool ending. |

The Last Temptation WAS better  Braveheart was cool if you can ignore EVERY single historical detail that got mangled and distorted. Gibson sucks. He should make this into a prequel of Mad Max and be done with it. |

I just want the AO slapped on this game because it IS in appropriate for minor's to play. They should make it manditory for M and AO games to have ID provided. It's not going to completely stop the purchase of the games, but it sure as hell will slow it. Although you guys will find this just sickening (edited by Ziff on 07-22-05 03:57 PM)

I'm actually hearing GREAT things about this. Not from the crew, but from production staff (who generally egg movies before they come out). Which is amazing. I'm thinking that this movie will be good. Maybe not GREAT as they are saying, but definitely serviceable and enjoyable.

Although I agree with it, I stand by my point that the roots of this are the facts that it is indeed imperialism, poverty, etc. that have ruined the Muslim world into hating us. Now that they hate us, there is no way to really stop it. They don't hate us for screwing them over or being way more 1337 than them now. They don't give a shit about our freedoms. They want to kill because that is the preveling idea. We want to fight back, and in the process...we kill. No way of stopping them, as you said. Why try? You can strangle the weeds on one lawn, but those seeds lay dormant until the next drought. (Man, speaking in metaphors sucks). |
The problem is that this fear of these new unknowns, drugs and terrorism, has bred an atmosphere that is one step away from instilling totalitarian ideas. The war on drugs has the US, Canada, Britain, etc. running other world governments in South America and actively attacking the citizenry. The war on terror has the world randomly arresting its own citizens, building up an atmosphere of well...fear, and aggressive militancy that is breeding anger to the world on both sides. Votes and soldiers (less now) on one side, young radicals on the other. The vageury of this whole ordeal has made super-divided camps forcing extremes on EVERYONE. The middle ground is growing harder and harder to take. Although there is no way to stop it.

I now work 30 hours a week at a pub called the Waltzing Weasel. I WAS a manager for my first shift. Then they discovered that I was too good a worker to be a manager. So I was "demoted" but given a higher pay. So, now I work at 9 bucks an hour. Then, because I'm too good of a worker to be worth the money...they fired three other people. |
