| *bangs head violently against a desk* GOD, WHY DID YOU FORSAKE ME TO FINDING THIS BOARD!? *continues banging head against the desk* Kitten Yiffer, the only way Sony and Nintendo would "merge" is if one of them went out of business, and the other bought the other up. But that isn't going to happen. When Nintendo dies, which won't be for four score and one year ago (you know, long and painful decline. Like SEGA (remember that name!)). The simple self-destruction will be due to the competition between the two companies and the campaigns that they run. I've never postulated that the PSP will wipe out the DS. Nor the DS hurt the PSP. They are for different markets. The only thing that can beat the other down is a new competitor that can fund an all out war on one of those markets. That is it. Otherwise we're going to see a split in the gaming market, just like the old SNES/Genesis days where no company was hurt and they both had their respective cliches. |

| Until there is a Parappa for PSP, there will be no killer apps. Although there IS Tony Hawk Underground 2: Remix and some others like Wipeout, Lumines and others. I just wouldn't call anything a killer app right now. |

The simple thing is that there are classes for discussing these issues, like law and religions. Then there are classes where we don't have to, where we learn just the straight, objective facts. Like biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics. |

I DOUBT that you would be able to see a single dead pixel for the most part. And even then I have further doubts that it would at all effect the gameplay. In fact, my GBA SP has a small patch in the middle where the colour is a little off, but it does not bother me one bit. This is just another bunch of people deciding to do system war baiting in order to start little fights. |
Besides, this could easily have been put into the PSP thread rather than being given a standalone.

I want the Ridge Racer game and Vampire Chornicles. I've only heard tales of the beauty and awesome of the new Ape Escape as well as Metal Gear Ac!d. But again. I'm waiting til' Christmas time before choosing a system |
 Incidentally, DS has the new Castlevania and two Pokemon games coming. Right now, unless a literal killer app comes out for the PSP, I'm knd of sold to the DS. But there is some hope that Sony and its new PSP can bring something out that will pique my interest more than some Final Fantasy movie.
