Yea, they totally butchered it. I believe you're talking about the second season of the tv series that they put on Adult Swim?

Speaking of Nora, I've just noticed that she looks similar to Drew Lachey.

Anyway, yea, I like Jay a lot too. Kara Saun is full of pure talent and she's also very flexible with all these different challenges. On the other hand, I liked Austin because of his "contour mold" as they say, because in doing so, he really made a name for himself. Wendy, is really the worst. At one point she says how much she likes seeing the others wriggle and squirm. Then later, she gets upset because of the way people treat her. Either way, her talent is really lacking, as seen by the bathing suit competition.

By the way, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, there's a marathon TOMORROW, starting at 11/10 c AM.

I am making two manga right now; one about Jin Dogan, and another about a special Gundam force called the Mobile Eagle Corps. This how Jin Dogan will look in the beginning of his own manga. It takes place after the gundam manga, which also includes him, but not as the protagonist.

Anyhow, the Jin Dogan manga takes place after this war in the gundam manga. The world iis forced into the Third Ice Age because of the war's end.(I haven't decided what catastrophe ends the war yet, or what exactly happens during it) Considering the harsh conditions of the weather, the survivors are all newtypes. Those like Jin, who fought in the war, now wander the ends of the earth aimlessly, some with newly developed powers. Some people call this a new evolution, out with the oldtypes and in with the newtypes. Jin's powers are based around light. His coolest power being forming weapons out of light, most of the time being his sword.

HIs hair isn't exactly what I had drawn, but I guess it can be how he looks at the VERY BEGINNING, and later he cuts his hair and whatnot. His goggles are a necessity that many people at the time have. It's to protect their eyes from the harsh weather. Sometimes, masks are necessary. But I didn't wanna cover his face completely. There is another reason why Jin wears goggles; because his light powers affect his sight. Also, being a former mobile suit pilot during the war, Jin also can pilot whatever mech is available; more or less. The artwork I have of him so far is different, but it's not final

There are still MANY things I need to work out in both works. But if you want to see what info, artwork, and thoughts I already have of both manga, then just PM me or something.

Do they have EVERY lego part in there? Including the hinges and such? Because if they do, I can create my gundam esque spaceship that I made with limited parts.

Xeogred: Well the tv series they showed on adult swim wasn't the entire show. It was only the second season. The movies are better. The best of which are Castle of Cagliostro(everyone knows that title) and Mystery of Mamo(renamed Secret of Mamo in the states).

MIYAZAKI, not MIYAGI. (Miyagi's the old dude from Karate Kid) I'm sorry, I just had to pick on you there. And the other movie that you're thinking of is Castle in the Sky.

Yea, Mononoke was quite a powerful movie. I saw it like in 2000 and some other times, but I think I should see it again. I liked Castle in the Sky Laputa a little bit better only because I am a bit more partial to Miyazaki's steampunk anime or modern/medieval anime/manga. However, I must say that I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to Mononoke. It seems a bit unfinished.

You know, I would agree with you. But, in order to establish organization, there has to be an idea of what's good and what's bad.

And here's something to chew on: why is it that if one person does something wrong(like kill somebody, find something very important, eat "weird" things), they are condemned, but if a group does it, then it is considered a culture and thus cannot be tampered with? In order to maintain a certain fabric of society, as I said before, certain universal morals have to be laid down and understood. This act is something that should go against those morals.

lol, miyazaki directing nadesico. Oh Ziff, it's Howl's Moving Castle, not Fang. And there's going to be a sequel. Yea, his works are timeless and almost always deal with humanity and its problems. Also, you might notice a lot of flying and aircraft undertones. ("Freedom of the Skies" if you will) That's because his family supplied parts for fighter craft during WWII. He also has feelings of guilt because of such practices; also seen in his work. And, oh yea, he was also a practicing Marxist. More power to him.

That's exactly what I am saying. It SHOULDN'T be like that. Someone's worth is something that cannot be determined by us. There is no way whatsoever to judge that. BUT, you can decide what is right and wrong which SHOULD be the reason why laws are made.

I don't think you can compare Ippo and Kenshin. Now Ippo and Ashita no Joe? That's a whole different story.

Ashita no Joe(Anime) - 1970-'71
Ashita no Joe 2(Anime) - 1980-'81
Ashita no Joe(Manga) - 1968-'73
Hajime no Ippo(Anime) - 2000-'02
Hajime no Ippo(Manga) - 1989-2004

I think you mean when I said "I don't think you can compare Ippo and Kenshin. Now Ippo and Ashita no Joe? That's a whole different story."

In which case I meant you can't compare Ippo and Kenshin because they are different genres.(sports and action/martial arts) Ashita no Joe and Hajime no Ippo can both be compared much more easily because they are both boxing anime/manga and they were done by the same people. In my opinion, Ashita no Joe is better. It's just has much more of a legendary quality to it.

Yea, at first I thought of it as another Yuu Yuu Hakusho. But after I read it, I was surprised but not satisfied. To me, the manga is really not as good as the anime at all. The anime adds a lot more depth to the characters that you don't see in the manga. But even though I didn't like the manga, I downloaded the anime right away(when the 1st ep came out in September) because I wanted to see how they changed it. And to my amazement, the anime is very good so far.

I don't particularly like emulating my favorite tv shows only because it makes me want to be more like the characters in them. And, of course, I cannot live in those fictional worlds.

I think Funimation will get it if anyone. They've been a bit greedy lately.

EDIT: Something that I really like about Bleach is the fashion. If you notice, characters, like in real life(for the most part), wear a different thing each day. I really like the school uniforms as well.

The only weapon I own is the unusable machine gun on this Dnepr MW 750 motorcycle:

It was a Soviet motorcycle used by the military. So it had weapons. Just like the ones used by Nazis in WWII.
