there was more than just one person. if you look at the bid history there were several more idiots involved in wanting to spend quite a bit of money without reading much of what was being sold(especially on ebay) oh well, i guess it's the duty of the smart to take advantage of the stupid.... if you're behind a linksys router, you'll need to find out about port forwarding. by default, the router blocks people trying to connect to you, so you'll have to say that there are certain ports that they can connect to. basically, for an FTP server, i'd say you'll have to configure the router to forward ports 20 and 21 to your LAN IP. if you don't know what i'm talking about at all, try a little Google on port forwarding with a linksys router. |

are you counting the fairy pool you can drop into the the mountain tower? you drop all the way below the 2nd floor down into an unmapped basement, but the map doesn't show it. the rest do actually add up to 54 (lucky guess, Kitten Yiffer), so i guess 55. |

there was a remake? never heard of it, so here are two guesses. the hands that come out of the walls, and the big caterpillars in level 9 |

another zelda timeline debate? ummm, i usually skip or don't pay attention to the cutscenes in these games, so i can't get involved but for the question, the green, red, blue, and purple tunic colors for SSB and such also happen to be the colors of the four players in four swords. so my guess is that the purple tunic represents player 4 in the four swords games. |

Go to babelfish i see an option that says "japanese to english". not that machine translation ever does too much good, but at least it's something however, you could try to find a translation hack of whatever game you're playing (if it's a ROM). otherwise it might get a bit tedious translating it yourself with babelfish. dammit, i clicked the delete button instead of edit, then hit ok thinking it was normal. we're talking about the absence of the material from games beofre it was mentioned in another. so we'd probably be talking about FIRST appearances, right? which is 2002. Originally posted by Elric you can just copy the characters from the game text into the screen by hand, but as i said that would get very tedious very fast. so yeah, there isn't a magical program that can translate your game for you. a translation hack is your best chance. really? i never bothered using both buttons at once. oh well, i already said the two weapons, combined or not, that can kill wizzrobes, so i'll just be going to try that little combo now. | |||

the GBA four swords game is decent, provided you have somebody else to play it with. the thing i liked about its adventure mode is that you CANNOT hurt the other players unless you drop them into pits or something, so you are forced to cooperate sometimes to have any fun, and the world is huge so each person can do his own thing instead of clearing a dungeon screen by screen waiting for your friends to finish each other off before going to the next.Originally posted by Rydain and here lies the problem with the GC multiplayer adventure mode. with single player it is not bad, but in multiplayer, the way it's set up, especially with the attitude toward fighting between me and my friends, we couldn't get three screens into the dungeon without it turning into pure deathmatch. now all we play in multiplayer is shadow battle. makes a helluva lot more sense, don't it? |

hmmm, screen shots and box arts for every game in the 700+ NES library? i see two big problems. 1. finding or creating screenshots and box art shots for over 700 games would be one helluva task 2. good images for all those would easily add several megabytes to the download size for something that would only minorly improve it, it ain't worth it (edited by Synneth Relmn on 01-09-05 12:31 AM) (edited by Synneth Relmn on 01-09-05 12:32 AM) (edited by Synneth Relmn on 01-09-05 12:34 AM) |

you'd have to use CommonDialog1.ShowOpen() to show the common dialog box in the first place, right? (edited by Synneth Relmn on 01-28-05 04:16 PM) (edited by Synneth Relmn on 01-28-05 04:17 PM) |
