I saw those backgrounds before (Ren & Stimpy). I want to use them, but I have no idea how to rip those backgrounds. If someone like peter_ac or smwedit help me rip them.... Edit: It's going to be late next week before I relese the patch. I got some more Dr. Mario references to add in it. I'll post more (and better) screens later too. That doesn't make sense. So, you'd get a headache if you were to say, hook up an old NES, SNES, or Genesis and play those games on the TV? What I ment was the incresed graphics of a Gamecube emulating an old game like Sonic 1 or 2 can get annoying to me, personaly. Have you ever played Zelda 2 the adventure of Link (Zelda Collection) on the Gamecube? It's just like that. I only play those type of classics on my computer. |

Maybe my level design sucks because I tried to make a normal SMW game instead of these strange level, impossible to complete, wierd storyline, impossibe to find the secret exit, retarded ememy settings, one block jump on a auto scroll level, hacks that are out there now. This hack was based on SMW, so I wanted SMW FG color palletes that was seen in SMW. This Dr Mario is SMW's Dr. Mario. This is how he would look in SMW. All he wears is a coat and pants with stepascope and I detiald the stepascope if you look hard enough, what more can I do. He's not supposed to look 3D shaded because my levels and enviroment wil not fit him in right.Trust me, I tried that, it didn't look right. I got an compleatly uneven feel to him and the whole game. But give me some screens of what you didn't like (color problems, etc), and in the next game I can address these opinions and see what I can do about them. (edited by Link2004 on 07-13-05 02:00 PM) |

1. For reznor or boss levels, open up a sepreate lunar magic, open the orginal rom, go to an old fortresss or koopa kid castle and follow the exits untill you get to a boss door,then use that exit level to the boss you want to fight.(We should make a list of where the boss levels are) 2. Make sure the event that you use when you pass that castle matches your destroy level tile settings. Make sure you also set a path to your destination, and set a "Direction to enable when you pass that level" Hope that helps |

Dr. Mario When I made the IPS the last 3 times, I was using a modified rom as a base (thanks smallhacker for the SMWCRV tool). This is it, if this patch above don't work, then I really don't know what to tell you other than make sure you're patching it to the Super Mario World (U) [!].smc rom.... |

Lets see......Click on the Layer 2 event editor mode and start at event 0 (look at the bottom). Then press page up untill you get to the path that won't open when you pass that level and make sure that the event number on the bottom matches your"event to activate when pass this level" setting. Thats all I can think of.... | |||

Hooray, my site is now back up, so if you want any of the hacks I made click the "Zelda 4 Life" link to go to my site and download them. I'm going to hold off on the prequel to Dr. Mario World for a little while because in the middle of working on that I end up turning it into this: Super Mario Sunshine (SNES Style) demo Right click and save target as Here is the demo showing a small sample of whats to be expected. It's in it's VERY early demo and a lot of enemies and other things will be changed. I'm taking suggestions on what to add in this hack so let me know what you think. You'll have to edit the color yourself using a save state color palette from your SMW hack, then change the colors on the bottom right part of yy-chr (I assume thats what you're using) to the color that suits that graphic best. Thats the best way I can describe it for you. | |||
