It'll take you at least a few run-throughs to get everything. Pros - good music - a semi decent plot - Sigma dies for good. (seriously) - one BADASS final boss (and its not even Sigma =o ) - a boss that screams MUFFINS!! and POTATO SALAD! while he attacks. - Axl plays like Bass, except he hovers instead of double jump. (and his weapons all have infinite ammo), plus Axl's transformation move is actually useful. - Unique boss abilities for all three characters. - All characters start out with airdash. Zero starts with his double jump. - Vile returns. - decent voice acting. (the voices fit the characters mostly. Axl sounds like the typical arrogant teenager, X doesn't sound like a girl, and Signas sounds like the traditional high ranking officer.) - Elevator level. - 2 new navigators that are actually useful. Palette, although she has the most annoying voice ever, is really valuable when it comes to finding secrets. Layer usually tells you which enemies you can/need to copy as well. - Tons of unlockable stuff (different armor for each of the characters, playable navigators, etc. Alia goes fucking CRAZY when she gets in ride armors.) - GOOD ride chaser levels - X's armor system. Cons - some slowdown in areas, but nothing TOO major. - Vile's a total pushover. - Vile's voice - Palette's Voice (ADFSJLKDSLJKF SO ANNOYING) - Some of the bosses are easier than the stages they're in - Some of the boss designs really suck. No offense guys, some of the comments you make in this thread make you sound like OH IM SO ANTI MAINSTREAM I'M HARDCORE. |
I'll give anything a shot (minus sports games) and i can say i enjoyed halo, GTA, and almost anything else i've played like that. I hate tekken 5 though. Sure, it has beautiful graphics, but its tekken. Not to mention whenever i go to the arcade all the fucking ghetto gangsta wigger kids are playing with their custom guys with names like dA sMaSHA and attracting idiots. Most street racing games in general, especially initial D. I don't care much for cars, anyway. DA FAST AND DA FURIOUS MY CAR CAN GO UP TO 230 MPH HAHAHA ITS FASTER THAN YOURS I AM AWESOME LOOK AT MY PENIS FOR IT IS HUGE AND WIDE. and now, for unpopular games that i like. Megaman X5-X6: Shitty nightmare system aside (and "time limit), these games had some awesome music and boss designs (Axel the Red/Spike Rosred was fucking badass) I would say Suikoden, but they're popular enough in my opinion. Super Robot Wars, maybe? Bomberman 64, too...Just because its a victim of people going OMG THIS SUCKS BECAUSE ITS NOT LIKE THE OLD GAMES. IM TOO HARDCORE FOR NEWSCHOOL KNOW YOUR ROOTS

This game rocks. Quite a solid RPG. Can't compare to the first two games in the series though. |
Graphics are nice overall, the voice acting's great (save for Rita... DSJLKAJSDLAKSJD HATE), and the character designs kick ass (with plenty of good looking characters to keep both sexes happy  . <3 Ameria and Flare). I do miss the 6 person parties though. Can't do as many unites with 6 people  Only gripe i have is the fact that the game is short. But the amount of extras and things you can do on your ship make up for that (Confessional, Bath scenes, the vast amount of minigames you can play, etc.) Its another game one that's well worth the money.

this probably'll sadly put a nail on the coffin...not many people like the new sonic games (LOL KIDDIE GAME IT SUX YARR HALO AND DOOM), and i'm not really sure if they have a fairly strong series they can work off of otherwise. (restricted) |
