I've seen my share of amazing arcade talents out there, but I'd really like someone to beat this.

I've seen many DDR ones, but this one is just too good to miss.

I'll admit this. I've never seen the game before I understand the fact that he's doing whatever you have to do in the game an an insane speed, which is cool in itself, but it'd be nice to know what exactly you're supposed to do

As far as the movie itself, that guy must've had way too much time on his hands I wonder how many tries it took him to get that good

Yeah, if you notice on the games screen, at the bottom there's some kind of bar. Overtime it decreases as he progresses, I'm thinking maybe that's for the level? You don't see the bar diminish all the way, so I'm guessing he messes up after the videos done recording.

Wow...

That dude makes me look slow... really slow.

Of course, if he played the piano, or new the songs, then it would have been a lot easier and could be done from memory.

The game is called Pop'n Music, and there's a machine in my local arcade.

Needless to say, I can't do that. Ever.

Dammit...Cymoro beat me to it. Yea, it's Pop'n...it's similar to Beatmania IIDX's style of play it's just that the controls are quite a bit different (as opposed to a piano-like style).

It starts off incredible easy and works it's way up to...well...you're watching it.

I can only come close to that by beating every DDR song made since Extreme...

I make it a priority to never play any random person at DDR, or anything remotely DDR-Like.Ever.

Light gun games, however, are a different story altogether.

Well, that does go over several actual piano pieces, but the controls look nothing like a real keyboard, so great piano skill alone could not account for that. I am shocked. And appalled. Are you sure the video is not sped up at all? =(

Oh, I remember this from years ago!

In fact, a guy is free styling using Pop n' Music in the background in the movie Lost in Translation.

I'm actually still more amaze people doing high footers correctly than this... still it's quite impressing.

I hadn't seen this arcade game, and I bet I never will either. Althought Music games seems to be more popular lately...
