If there was an editor for layer 3 backgrounds for each tile set, I could use that.

It looks like the level's corrupted. Trying saving a m3l file of that level from an unmodified ROM, and save it to the offset of the corrupted one in your hack.

Looks good. Remember to post PNGs of your hack next time (BMPs take long to load).

Does anyone have the music data location in the ROM? I want to fix the plains music, and possibly make new music.

http://www.betagoldeneye.com has lots of information about the beta of Goldeneye, including the citadel and textures found in the image bank for the former Bonds.

130. When using custom palettes, don't use the last 8 colours of a palette on the same screen as the goal. They will not fade to black when you pass it.

I think those tiles are used for other areas such as Death Mountain. Either that or there are bugs in the editor (corrupted data) or they're unused.

In SMB3, I found out how to hold an item while using the kuribo shoe. In World 5-3, free up a shoe, grab a spiny shell and jump backwards into the shoe.

I found two glitches in The Thing for PS2:

1) Pull out a sniper rifle, aim in 1st person view and zoom out. Then look down. You can see the barrel of the sniper rifle.

2) Pull out a pistol, switch to 1st person aim, switch to unarmed, and your arm will still stick out. Look down, and turn around and around. Your hand will stay in the exact same place in mid air, and your wrist will get twisted!

I also found a code for GoldenEye that makes all music sound like a skipping CD, but I lost it .

While watching the credits in GoldenEye, I slammed the table the N64 was sitting on with my foot, then Bond and Natalya were spinning around really fast in the centre of the screen. Never managed to get it to work again.

Also, sometimes when I play Paper Mario, the game would randomly freeze and a debug screen similar to the one in Zelda 64 would show up. And sometimes when I turn the game on, my saved games don't show up. I try to start a new one, the freeze mentioned above would happen. I reset, and then my saved games came back.

I started up my computer today, and a menu showed up with normal mode or safe mode startup. I selected normal mode, and a blue screen showed up, saying Windows found an error and won't start up. It says check the hardware. I do so, and it's fine. I restart the computer, and it happens again. It even happens when I select safe mode. What's going on?

I didn't install anything recently. I held down the power button until the computer shut off because it froze. Then it happened.

Any links to partition editors I can boot from floppy? I'm searching for one right now.
