If it works: Yes
Is it worth it: Not really, for an entirely different reason.

Generally the Mac apps that are superior to apps on other platforms are superior mostly because they can run on a different environment than Windows. If you emulate that, it'll be a very, very slow environment, which is just not worth it.

It's in Unsurpassed Darkness' header and sig. Yes, it sucks. I've asked him to change it.

1) has appearently been requested, but sure, we can make it optional.

2) is related to the web browser. It always gives out absolute links.

I mean both different CPUs and, yes, different APIs. For example, one place where you'd use Mac instead of Windows would be video editing. Is it a good idea to run a video editing program ~40 times slower than your own PC?

Is anyone more surprised than I am at how many votes I'm getting? I don't think so. And I certainly don't regard myself as funniest or best admin.

Pfft. You're just using false modesty so you can call to attention how many votes you're getting.
Vote Zem for Wildest Strawberry!

Precisely. The ISO is a bit-by-bit copy of the CD. No extraction necessary, it should be able to just write from the file as it goes.

I spoke to Toxic yesterday and we agreed that the votes of anyone permabanned at the time of counting (on Sunday, since voting ends on the 15th, which is Saturday) will have their ballot declared null and void. The actual VOTES for the person will be counted as normal, however.

So, you can vote for Leg, but the votes he cast (his ballot) will not be counted, and the same goes for anyone else getting themselves permabanned before Sunday, which I hope won't be too many.

We'll see. User-defined types would be useful for those wanting to give away, for example, one's RO screen name. But either we'd ruin the risk of making it harder for searching for them ("Ragnarok Online name", "RO name", "RO screen name", "RO login", "me @ RO" etc are all possible names) or we'd add an official spelling, which would mean EVEN MORE choices in addition to the 10 already available. This is good, of course, because it means it's easier to contact the guy, but it's also bad because it means some people will just give up and think "screw this, I'm not gonna keep all those updated, I'll just enter my email and leave the rest blank". 10 choices is already a lot. We have to strike a balance somehow.
