In that case, change ($sex==3) ($sex==3 or $powerlevel==3)

That's how I did it.

The problem is its leaving something blank, or unsigned. You need to set a defalt for that varable(in the php file), and you need to make sure that it checks the DB for the varable.

The file needs the check the correct DB varable, I sometimes have this problem when a tinyint like a radio button doesn't find the varable. it needs something like $loguser[sex] to get it working properly.

If you have the password in phpmyadmin looking like what your password should be. That's the problem. You password has to be in md5 format when add it to your DB.

Ps. I'm PMing your md5 password to you, from the backup on myboard.

I don't think php5 works with apache2(or apache 1.3 for that matter), I've never been able to get it to work for starters. You should use php4, I'm using php4 with apache 1.3 and I'm having problems, I can't get php working the way it should. Stick with apache2 and php4. Mysql 4.0 works with php4, or atleast it use to. The dll file doesn't work in apache 3, the best you get when using the binary for php is "/cgi-bin/php4/php.exe" when you check where users are on the board. I'm going to have to use apache2 as well. I recamend you stick with apache2, php4 and mysql 4.0.

make register and login require layout2.php and leave the others as layout.php.

It might be nicer to use, if(!$log) errorpage('You must be logged. Register / Login');

The only thing that would cause a problem is the ' '

mysql_query("UPDATE users SET scale=$scale,sound=$sound,scanline=$scanline,fps=$fps,timeemulation=$timeemulation,showsoundbuffer=$showsoundbuffer WHERE id=$loguserid");

Should work fine if the php your using is pickie... like mine.

Ps. Jojo there are times to say someone's board owns others... but I don't think this was the time. You are ban from Clockworkz board because you were spamming about saying "this board sucks" and other spam like "no one gives a f***", I think you might have said something about GWD's board there as well.

try this

mysql_query("UPDATE users SET scale='$scale', sound='$sound', scanline='$scanline', fps='$fps', timeemulation='$timeemulation', showsoundbuffer='$showsoundbuffer' WHERE id=$loguserid");

if you look at existing mysql update queries, you see theres no ` ` around anything, and no .. ' ' around $loguserid. try that...im thinking it should work.

The item shop files need to be molded to the board version your using, and anything you don't see in the files you need to add the hard way, manualy.

rather try something like

if(!$istech){
$levellist="
<select name=powerlevel>

";
}else{
$levellist="
<select name=powerlevel>

";
}

Personaly I'd set $isowner in function.php, in this case I use tech staff.

"horridly unlikable"... no, I disagree. "one-dimensional" do you mean 'lacking' depth? "Don’t particularly care for the plot" well... can you explain it in complete and utter detail? a lot of people like it because they can't understand what's going on; its the challenge of understanding and keeping your sanity that makes it more enjoyable the 'some' anime. The action scene were a lot better the 'some' anime that are suppose to have a lot of 'action'.
