I can't manage to understand anything of that post except for the last sentence.
Drop down to 16bit? The SMAS graphics are 16bit. How is it possible to drop down from 16 to 16?

In other words: Yes, it's supposed to be 16bit. (4bpp, SNES)

I haven't learned any more than that yet...

Edit: Divided it into two parts to avoid stretching. (At least on 1024x768 monitors)

Very, VERY nice. Two things, however.

1: The left edges of the SMB2 hills in the prolouge is solid from every direction, not just from above.
2: In the teleporter room, if you run past the teleporter, there's this pillar blocking the path. Try running into it without jumping and you'll see the problem.

Just make that one block fully passable. Try it! It's not going to look like crap. Trust me.

I'm pretty sure that's a RAM address... This thread is for ROM addresses.

Well, I did a quick test and got a bad result. The stomped goomba graphics aren't stored in the normal sprite graphics table, which means that someone has to try to change the thousands of C7s in the Rom one by one and hope that one of them works.

Sorry about the one week bump, but I found it. It begins at 2B926.

The following text can be found there (in the same order as in the rom):
MARIO A ...EMPTY
MARIO B ...EMPTY
MARIO C ...EMPTY
ERASE
ERASE
ERASE
END
MARIO A ...EMPTY
MARIO B ...EMPTY
MARIO C ...EMPTY
ERASE DATA
1 PLAYER GAME
2 PLAYER GAME
CONTINUE AND SAVE
CONTINUE WITHOUT SAVE
CONTINUE
END

The format is the same as the status bar and can be found in the ROM Loc thread.
(This info will be added to the ROM Loc thread as well)

The following strings can be found at $2B926 and the ~600 bytes following it:

ERASE
END
MARIO A ...EMPTY
MARIO B ...EMPTY
MARIO C ...EMPTY
ERASE DATA
1 PLAYER GAME
2 PLAYER GAME
CONTINUE AND SAVE
CONTINUE WITHOUT SAVE
CONTINUE
END

The format is the same as the status bar and can be found in this thread.

After importing the ExGFX, enter the overworld editor and click on Overworld>Change Submap FG Graphics. Make sure to read the note at the bottom!

Edit: Crap. Beaten to it...

Just rip the graphics from SMAS and assemble the tiles in the overworld editor.

Yes, it's a day which ends with a "Y", which means that it's time for a new program.
This thingie allows you to edit the text at the file selection, player number selection, file deleting, saving and continuing/ending. Have fun.

FYI: It uses a modified version of SMWSBE's GUI.

Go here to visit my lovely designed SMW site and download the program.
