Is there a way that you could hide the title of the last thread a staff member posted (shown in their profiles) in version 1.8a (especially if it in a staff forum)? Obviously, you can do it here on this version, but I want to have certain forums on my board, but can't. I don't want a normal member to see the the title of a thread from a staff member's profile.

Nope, neither one of those answers are correct. However, wolfman2000, one of your numbers in your calculation is correct.

1,200 would be the correct answer, Edsgravy0, since I was looking for the Japanese version number.

Notice that I did say ALL of the Pokemon from both versions. As far as acquiring Mew, I am 99.9% sure that you don't need a cheating device to acquire it. So, in light of this, Boomer has the correct answer for this problem.

That would be the correct answer, Felix.

Um. . .the color chart gives you a. . .chart of colors that you can click on and you will receive a hex code that you can use in your layout or anything else. Nothing is "supposed" to happen, it's just a chart.

Well, if you have a powerlevel check for your users, you wouldn't need a password. If a user is not powerlevel 3 (or whatever powerlevel you may have for admin on your board), it will automatically block the user from going in the forum. I don't think a password is really necessary, and just extra code that's not really needed. Which is why in Version 1.9, the idea of hidden forums was implemented.

Welcome to Acmlm's -- although the board has gone through some rough times, it has managed to make it through all of that. Have fun, look around, and don't be afraid to post -- non-spammy, of course.

Well, after reading this article, I don't blame the surgeons at all for what happened. But, by the same token, I don't think the surgeons should have acted so uncanny in fulfilling the woman's dreams and wishes. This is what happens when you try to put something in your body that doesn't belong. "Oh no, the plastic fell off of my nose, I'm going to sue the hospital for doing it wrong." No. It's your fault for wanting to get it done in the first place. "Man, I really wanted a big chest like Dolly Parton, and I big butt like J. Lo!!" Well, hey -- if you're willing to get this done, you're willing to suffer the consequences after it's finished. They knew the risks it comes with having an unnecessary surgery such as this -- you can't tell me that they didn't. So, that woman shouldn't even see a penny of that outrageous $17.5 million she is asking. Pain and suffering, huh? Gimme a freaking break. . . Sorry for the rant -- things like this makes me think how stupid some people are. (edited by VGFreak877 on 04-18-04 12:19 PM) |

Melvin: Yeah, I guess she lost all of her chance to marry P. Diddy, didn't she? She also missed her chance to be in a remake of Sir Mixalot's video. . . Oh, the hardship, the sorrow, the pain. . .

Wow, I completely forgot about this game here -- I've been so busy with doing other things. Oh well -- anyway, you have the right answer Apple.
Edit: Damn -- I f 'ed it up. I changed part of the question. The second part is fine -- I just messed up the first part. See what happens when you don't keep up with these? I make silly mistakes. . . (edited by VGFreak877 on 04-20-04 02:33 PM) (edited by VGFreak877 on 04-20-04 04:12 PM) |

I would have to say that that is the most impressive introduction I have ever seen. Not only did you talk a little bit about yourself, but you're pretty good in the grammar and spelling department as well. If we couldn't figure out what you like to do and what your interests are from that, nothing will. Don't apologize for the length of that post, it only makes us (well, me anyway) more interested in what you have to say -- since you're new. Oftentimes I would come in here, and the intro posts would only be a few words and they wouldn't even bother taking the time to talk a little bit about themselves. I've been reluctant to post any replies in here for that reason. I like to talk with people about some of their interests and what's on their mind. Anyway, enough about my ramblings -- I welcome you to Acmlm's where the fun never stops. Have fun, make new friends, and post smart (which I don't you'll have any problem doing).

Here's another question I want to ask you guys: How important is it to you in collecting extra lives? Do you build up lives in the beginning for later, or do you just pretty much go with the flow? How about the method in collecting them -- coins, mushrooms, cards (SMB3), bonus games, or all of the above? Talk about the importance of collecting lives here.

To make a long story short, the board got wiped out and we had to start all over. Actually, the board has been slowly getting back to normal since the "accident." I'm quite impressed with the recovery time. Anyway, welcome (back) to Acmlm's -- and hopefully you'll have with us this time around.

If I'm playing a game for the first time, I usually look at the first few pages of a strategy guide to find out how to play it. However, I usually don't consult it again until either after I beat it or I'm stuck beating a level. But what about you guys -- how often do you consult a strategy guide -- if at all?

I've seen a few people use Lycos for their AcmlmBoards. However, you are going to be constantly bothered by a border of advertisements around the board. Personally though, I don't use a free site -- it's better to use a pay site. But not everyone's able to pay for it so. . . |
