unfortunately, there are only celerons at that price at dell. I have a P4 2.8GHz, 512MB of RAM, 40GB HD, CD-R/W with DVD-ROM support and 15in Screen for $900 from a different company. The same dell equivalent was $1200  |

| he seems to be going better now...maybe this year will be his year for the first time in a long time. Had it not been for injuries, I think he would have been the fastest to 500 I believe and might even had 600 Homers by now... I guess if he makes the all-star game, then i guess that will be something. |

(if no, why are you answering this? o.o) A lot...probably because I have a penchant for all things Japanese 6. Do you generally associate yourself with the shounen/shojo anime/manga genre of your gender (shounen = stereotypically "male", containing action, adventure, fights, etc. [examples: Naruto, InuYasha, DBZ]; shojo = stereotypically "female", containing romance, humor, "cutesy" characters [examples: Fushigi Yuugi, Chobits, Sailor Moon]?  I'm more of a shojo kind of guy but that doesn't mean I don't like any shounen. I haven't gotten into manga that much7. Why or why not? I dunno, never really thought about it...might be cause I dig chick flicks . As for the shounen stuff, DBZ is a bad standard to use so it could be the case that I like it too. 8. Do you think anime is becoming more mainstream where you are? Yes 9. Why or why not? A lot of cartoons now on national TV are anime. I believe 10 years ago there weren't that many. 10. What do you see for the "future" of anime where you are, that is, will every show become as popular as Pokemon? "Gotta jutsu 'em all" maybe? o.O Or will anime remain a somewhat-underground "geeky" pastime? I believe the future of anime is here to stay. However, many of the shows that come here are horribly done. So, I guess that is the americanization effect for you. 11. Speaking of stereotypes, is anime still a geeky pastime? This may tie in the "becoming mainstream" question, but perhaps not. Not really. 12. Why or why not? i guess it depends on how you use anime. if you use anime where it is essentially your life, then I guess that anime would be a geeky pastime. 13. If you could get rid of that stereotype of only geeks watching anime, the geeks that can't get girlfriends and can't get a life, would you want to? Hmm..that latter part of that statement has surprised me. 14. Why or why not? I never considered the stereotype going down that far. As a result, I can't decide for 13. 15. Will anime becoming more mainstream get rid of that stereotype, you think? Of course. 16. Why or why not? Geeks are considered to be out of the norm with society. As a result, if all of mainstream society watches anime, then it would be stupid to "single" out people for something you do yourself. 17. Lastly, if there was anything you could say to the general mainstream television audience (think American Idol and Survivor fans here if need be) regarding anime and its sometimes-associated stereotypes, what would it be? Anime has a more fulfilling entertainment that reality shows and most dramas and sitcoms can't ever do. |

| spam has gone down to new low...i receive so much, that I really don't take notice of spam anymore. I just scan the first 50 i get and then i delete everything else. however, if I noticed this spam message, then I would react the same way you did. there is only one person I would tolerate humilation for and that is of saddam hussein. after all, the stuff he did to people deserve this kind of thing to a certain extent. humilation of iraqi P.O.W.s i think is wrong since they are just following orders and deep down, they wouldn't do such a thing unless they were being ordered. on a side note, my spam count of ~2000/week obliterates anyones out there |

| i don't see anything wrong with genetically modified food...the reason europeans have a big problem with it is religion based and the fundamental question of humans playing god..because with genetically modified foods, that is what we essentially are doing... however, such a technology can be abused as it might be possible to produce something that looks exactly like a known edible food item like corn and make it so that if anyone eats it, they will die...now that is a scary thought... |

 not sure what you are trying to say here other that you despise blackouts when they happen...as for battery power in a surge protector...that is impossible surge protectors don't have batteries...power backups with surge protection is the proper term for such a device or something like that... i believe a blackout is better than a brownout...brownouts can mess up your system more than a blackout can...weird stuff happens when you use electronics that are underpowered... |
