| Don't worry, MarioMaster. Everyone has a starting point on everything. So...don't feel that you're the only one in the world that doesn't know how to do anything on the program. Just keep using it, and looking threw it, and maybe, you'll come up into something. | It doesn't look really interesting...but it is nice work. Since you're using a black background, use this coding here: "< div style=background:rgb(0,0,0);height=100% >". It'll do better than using a graphic image of a back background like that... Anyway, it looks nice. | It's very possible to make a Mario game using game maker, however, it takes a little time. I know of one Mario game that was made, called the "Smb3 Engine", however, I can't find any download links to it anymore... So...you should ask someone who may know about it if you want to check that one out. | |||

| I also found some old thread (at Game Maker Forums) about the "Smb3 Engine". I believe you can download the game somewhere from down there to get a feel of what it's like, however, I don't know if the download still works. You can give it a try though, if you'd like to. My advice is that you go on with the platform tutorial stuff first (as posted above), therefore, you'll get the hang of how things work when making a game like Super Mario. | XP is the latest, as DarkSlaya said, however, you can use 2003. People tend to use that because of the 'FF' battles. |
