yeah all u have to do is go to google and find game maker then download it.its real cool.but im still making my mario game use it though.but go check it out it! |

| It's very possible to make a Mario game using game maker, however, it takes a little time. I know of one Mario game that was made, called the "Smb3 Engine", however, I can't find any download links to it anymore... So...you should ask someone who may know about it if you want to check that one out. | |||

| Navigate to this link: http://www.cs.uu.nl/people/markov/gmaker/tutorials/platform.zip That is a .ZIP containing Game Maker examples and documents on how to make a sidescrolling game. Remember to start with the basic engine and worry about 'Mario-izing' it with sprites and scenery later! A good sidescroller is nothing if the gravity stinks! =P Snika |

| I also found some old thread (at Game Maker Forums) about the "Smb3 Engine". I believe you can download the game somewhere from down there to get a feel of what it's like, however, I don't know if the download still works. You can give it a try though, if you'd like to. My advice is that you go on with the platform tutorial stuff first (as posted above), therefore, you'll get the hang of how things work when making a game like Super Mario.
