Most layouts are meant for the traditional "tall post area" thing, not the "wide but not tall" setup like this.

Shorter, stretchy layouts work very well here, though.

No, you're a pile of flaming good luck, especially when I manage to beat you by two points with "duc".

If your modem looks like this:

And tends to go out during the day, especially when it's hot, you have the same problem I do... If your house is old (and it seems like it is) the wiring probalby isn't as good and the signal's just not coming thorugh; it gets a lot worse when it heats up (the wires) too, so if it just started it's not suprising.

That blinking thing is the top two lights of my standard Cox-issued cable modem, by the way -- yours may not look exactly like it (but similar)...

In short: You'll probably need to have your house -- or at the least, your cable system -- rewired. A temporary solution is to find where the cable enters your house and place it at the closest cable outlet around there, since by then it won't have been split as much (assuming you have >=1 cable outlet, which I know you do ) and it'll be slightly stronger...

...of course, in the event your modem's toast this won't help at all

I noticed you posted that here, too and even registered, all while I was in the process of hacking that board XD!

Anyway, as I said there, good job -- it's always nice to have more translations in different languages. More freedom for everyone

(and, if you're wondering, I was actually de-hacking that board... some morons got ahold of it and I basically fixed most of the problems)

It's Adventure Island 2, I should know (I have the game)

The whole underground area doesn't look that good. The pipes don't fit in at all and the overall color scheme could really use some work. It's too contrasting (the ground) and not good with the background.

The underwater area could use some serious reworking -- try making the background tinted blue, or at least changing the colors somewhat.

The title screen could use some work too (don't use alternating colors for minor text or borders- pick one and stick with it!) and could use some serious spicing up.

Also, I believe that your hack would gain 3 points in my book if you turned on "Dark BG Mode" It's one of the level options and it'd help a lot, since a lot of stuff (notably the vines in parts of the jungle BG) don't stick out very much when in certain areas.

Believe it or not, I could very easily just check what password you have. It's not even encrypted period, heh.

Which reminds me, I should change mine

Actually, it looks good in normal width too (and a lot of times, takes up less space)

It just means less space is wasted since you just have that top bar, not the one on the side that just takes up space after the first few lines

The whole last 10 turns of the game I was slowly crawling ahead of you, that just put me ahead FOR TEH WINZ

Of course, it was still hilarious when it said "DUC IS A WORD ! A WINNER IS YOU 212-210"

I couldn't stop laughing for a good 10 minutes. For several reasons.

Because, ironically, your avatar takes up more vertical space than most of your posts?

Normally I'm not a ass to art (unless it's blatantly bad, like that stupid photoshop down there...) ....

... but you've managed to surpass a level of 'suck' I've only imagined. Congradulations.

I mean shit. You pasted a sprite into Paint and drew a line.

It's not even a good line. It's slanting all over the fucking place.

By the way. DON'T USE THE SPRAYPAINT TOOL UNLESS YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD FUCKING REASON WHICH THAT IS NOT

that is all..

msconfig. run it.

boot.ini. click it.

/safemode. check it.

This makes it constantly boot into safe mode, regardless of what you do (until you untick that box)

(and is probably a hell of a lot safer than fiddling with the ini file, since msconfig knows exactly where to put it)

It's... exactly like the normal one... but with a small bar at the bottom with some options (most of which are included in another layout anyway)...

...The only thing different is that it has some new options, which I couldn't exactly include anyway (the staff comments thing would've been nice, since there's some free space on the right area of mine) because of the fact I'm not staff and can't tell how it works.

But yeah, it's alright, but it's really not terribly new (just a small bar with more links)

What baffles me is that all these people are like "omg the numbers actually work nowww!!!!"

Where the hell have you been?

What really baffles me is that only 90-something people use it. Does no one even check that option?!

No, when you post your avatar stretches the whole top bar area to be 120 (180?)px tall, making it 3 times the size it is in those screenshots (and therefore, large enough to hold 3 paragraphs)

So yeah, it is.
