| Meanwhile, Janus raced after the preist down a cobblestone path that led to the chapel, attempting to find out what was going on and trying to learn more about what could make those kids unsafe at all. Janus: "Old man! Hey, gramps! Wait for me!" Preist (panting as he runs): "I cannot! The Gu-Goombas are going to strike again if I am not at the chapel to help defend it! Please, you must leave this place or you will be in great danger!" Janus: "What the hell's a Gu-Goomba?" As the two of them approached the chapel, Janus suddenly spotted a group of monsters before them! Five, to be exact. They were not overly large, skeletal figures armed with varying degrees of melee weapons. Swords, spears, but one had a bow... Terrible images flashed through Janus' mind as he wondered what those things would do to him if they managed to get him! Priest: "Oh, no, I can't possibly be too late! Quickly, help me get rid of them!" Janus: "Whoa, now, hold it oldie! What's in it for me here? Those guys could tear me apart!" Priest: "I could handle them all myself! You mean to tell me you can't outclass an old man in combat skills? Very well then, just sit there and make sure I don't get a heart attack!" Plunging into battle, the Priest smacks the bowman with a staff, and instantly the skeleton explodes from the sheer holy power of the preist! The other skeletons react quickly, laying into the surprisingly powerful old man, and it doesn't look like he can take it for too long. Janus: "Well, instrument of God, I guess... Hey, hold right there! Don't let them get-- Oh, what the hell. I'll do it." Janus rockets into the crowd of skeletons, transforms his bag into a large, heavy hammer, and busts open the skulls of the skeletons nearest the priest with ease, yet they still stood, fighting mindlessly. Now, two of the skeletons turned toward Janus, as the priest exploded a second skeleton. Without a holy weapon, Janus would have to beat the now headless skeletons to pieces. Narrowly avoiding slashes and strikes from the skeleton's weaponry, Janus suddenly gets an idea. Bringing his hammer above his head, Janus cries, "Modified Technique, Crush Punch!" and slams his hammer, now glowing red, into the top of the closest skeleton, shattering it to pieces! As the bone shards flew about him, Janus didn't miss a beat, aiming a golf shot straight into the pelvis of the second skeleton and sending it flying into a nearby tree, breaking it open in the process! The priest, meanwhile, charged up a strange white light, and blew his final attacker away with a wave of holy power. Priest: "Well, young one, it's good to see you have some fighting ability, at least. But we must hurry, these skeletons can reform themselves fairly quickly, and if they do, we'll have just as much trouble as before!" Janus: "You're a strange one, ossan. I was hoping to take some time to relax, but if this is gonna keep on happening, I can't just sit by and watch! Lead the way! I'll help however I can!" Together, the two of them continued their race towards the chapel. Janus could only wonder what awaited him next... (edited by Grey on 07-30-04 07:15 PM) |

| Ha, I love Tetris Attack, it's the best puzzler I've ever played. Best I can do? I'm not too good, best I can do is endless mode, starting from the very bottom up to level 37. After that it just starts to get too overwhelming for me! |

| I dunno, I thought Sonic and Knuckles was pretty good. It's been a long time, actually, since games like that were made, where the cartridge itself connects to another cart. Nowadays we have memory cards and stuff like that, so expansion packs for games are much easier to pull off. But for stuff like the GBA, we could use some kind of technology similar to Sonic and Knuckles to make games bigger. Like Golden Sun, for example. If you could combine the two cartridges (GS and GS 2) together (since they're supposed to be heavily based off each other), you'd be able to import your old character data that they lock you out of when you finish Golden Sun into Golden Sun 2, and have a new game to play, rather than the storyline that GS 2 provides. It's a good idea, in my opinion. | |||

| Guess it's ok to breathe life into this again, then. After replaying FFTactics, I have a certain appreciation for the female bags, and for Samurai Swords, the added powers that you unleash with the Samurai skill set own. They're also pretty neat when you double hand them. I also enjoyed using Zidane's twin daggers, I thought they were considerably cooler than the swallow-like thing he normally used. What was that called, anyway? Like the actual name of the type of weapon. |

| I love the music from the Megaman X series. The GTA soundtracks are good as well. But my absolute favorite is the Gourmet Race Theme from Kirby's Superstar. It's also the battle theme for Classic Dreamland in Super Smash Brothers Melee. Just screams "Madness!!!" I'm kinda surprised, though, that nobody's mentioned DDR yet, suffice it to say there is a lot of good music for that series, it's completely music based, and within it are a few rare gems of sound manipulation. |

| Yeah, I remember about a month or so ago you were banned for a few days, the reason was that they didn't know what was going on. Someone care to explain?
