I never realized that

I'd have to guess that happens because they (the game companies) want to do something different than they did the first time, but with the same characters, etc.

SMB2 might not belong there, since the original game (Doki Doki Panic) wasn't intended to be a Mario game from the start, but it could still very well belong in the list Also, there was an actual version of SMB2 that was released in Japan, that was like the original Mario. Take a look here.

I'll add some of my own as I can think of them

For the Chelsea code: Open your ROM in LM, but don't touch / click / press anything after you open it. Type in 'Chelsea' (case sensitive), and the status bar at the bottom of the screen should say 'Chelsea is cute!' or something. Open the Overworld Editor, click 'File', and notice the 'Chelsea's Bonus Menu' thing.

For TLP: Open your ROM in LM and extract the GFX (Red Mushroom button). Open TileLayerPro, and navigate to the graphics folder (the folder your ROM's in -> Graphics). Select 'All Files' from the drop down list, and open the .bin file (AllGFX.bin if you extracted the GFX as one single file). Click 'View'->'Format'->'SNES'

Hope that helps

I signed up, and tried sending an email from my hotmail account to my account there. Nothing. Tried sending it the other way around. Nothing yet Also, after I clicked 'Send Message' on that site, it added 'hriders.com' or something to the end of the message

The speed of it and the fact that they advertise their site in any message you send doesn't make it look very good.

You do? I can't say I've gotten any yet, and I've had my account there for a couple years

Which is really easy to make sure no one finds out that they don't have a 1 TB server .

Quite true

Another thing that just came to mind is that they say you can send 500Mb attachments. That's fine and all, if their system worked for one, but also, what other sort of email service does anyone know of that can recieve 500Mb emails? Unless you're sending them to yourself, there's no point in that that I know of

I think back a couple months ago when we didn't have the internet, and I realize I did just fine. Played Gamecube and computer games, went volunteering, and those were the two things I did most, if not all of the time. Before school started again, I regularly went up to the college to go on the internet, even though almost all the courses were done for the summer.

A month or so before that, our old computer stopped working, and I had to wait a week before we got a new one. I got by through playing various games on Gamecube and XBOX. My friend stayed the whole week at our house, so that may have helped as well.

Now that we do have it, I can't even remember how I survived without it at home I hate to think about what it would be like if we were to lose it now

Yay, I guess

Now we get pictures instead of having to hurt our eyes looking at text

Congratulations on having 1111 HP, but what exactly is that for? I don't see anything on this board that makes references to individual members' HP

I hated the Follow Freeman part I liked the game more when you were on your own, and didn't have other people to take care of.

I finally beat the game last week sometime, but I wasn't going to post here, since this thread was so far down the list Right when I heard the 'Time, Mr. Freeman?' voice, it was pretty much 'I know who that is!' What are all the places you can see him (Gman) in the game though? I've found him in the following:

:: On TV inside one of the train cars in the first half hour or so of the game
:: Up on a dock during Water Hazard. It's a tad hard to pinpoint exactly where, but he was up on the right
:: After beating the flying things that attack after you're given the RPG, but before driving through the gate, he was just standing up on the second floor of a building. I took a screenshot of that one here.
:: Somewhere during the Highway 17 area (I think) you could get out of your car, go up inside a house, and look through some sort of binoculars and see him talking to some other person.

windwaker: If, by chance your still stuck in the Sandtraps and the flying thing, you know you can get more ammo from the box on the back of your car, right? I found that out by accident when trying to get in it from behind

Same thing here Have you tried sending a message from your account there, to the same account? Given that nothing else seems to be working, I doubt that'd do anything either, but it's worth a shot

I'm waiting to get a Gmail address, then I'll probably never use my other ones except for things that could potentially cause spam to get sent to me (which is probably almost all sites, etc. )

What? The end? I could but that wouldn't be very fair to the people that haven't beaten it yet, so I'll put it in spoiler tags:

Spoiler:
You destroy the Dark Energy teleportation thing, but you have to get out of the Citadel as fast as possible. Unfortuantely, a giant explosion, well, explodes, and the screen freezes. You hear G-man talking, and he walks out from the center of the teleporter, and talks to you a bit (I won't say what quite yet), and then you appear in some void, still talking. He tells you that he gets off there, and walks out a door in the place you're in. Credits.

If that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, don't worry. It might sound like a horribly bad ending, but it's not, actually. I'll take some screenshots of the end later

Edit: Screenshots of the end. If you can't get to one or something, let me know and I'll re-upload it

Dr. Breen in his elevator bubble thing, going up to the Dark Energy teleporter
Higher up in the same room. The bubble's started to rise
At the top. The teleporter's been opened
Boom
G-Man's just walking out from the center. If you can't see him there, take a look at the next screenshot
Better view. He's talking about what you've done, etc.
He looks angry
"In the meantime, Dr. Freeman, this is where I get off."

The last one's bigger than the rest, since it was a smaller filesize. Tinypic automatically resizes any pictures larger than 250Kb

Edit 2: If you're wondering why Alyx is just staying in the same position in the last few pictures, it's because after the explosion, it's like time stops. You can still move around, but very slowly.

What's the path to the folder it's in right now? If all else fails, try moving to the highest-level folder it can go. If you're using windows, that'd be C:, or whatever letter you've got assigned to the drive.

If nothing works after that, then you are out of luck

Never played it. The closest I got to seeing anything about it was on one of the inserts that come inside the boxes of games

From what I heard about it though, it's a game that kids would like more, and older gamers wouldn't find it too entertaining. That being said, I got a game recently that fit into the same sort of description (Scaler), and I find it fun to play.

One of the things I didn't like about it is just what style of game it is

What's your opinion on it?

I don't think he was picking on you. I agree with him, that most new hackers don't even bother to find and read stuff that they're looking for. They just expect that as long as they ask someone, they'll get what they need given to them on a silver platter. I'm not saying you fit that description or anything, but it's just that those are the sorts of things I've seen overall. Maybe if they said that they'd already searched around for what they were looking for, but couldn't find it, people would be more willing to help them.

That aside, the only SNES assembler I've got in my possession is SPASM. I'm not sure what the address is for that site, but once I find out, I'll give you the link

It's not too surprising you found this board after you found Lunar Magic. Before I joined here and bookmarked this place, I always went through FuSoYa's site to get here

Anyhow, welcome to the board, and hopefully you like it here, and have fun Read this if you haven't already, so you know the rules

It works fine for me, and I'm running XP Home SP2 Is the main Lunar Magic window set to be always on top? I'm not sure if it's possible for that to happen, but if it is, that could be causing the problem.

This would probably do better in General Gaming like Keitaro said. It really doesn't have anything to do with emulation. It would if you were asking for help getting this game to work in an emulator or something, but when you're just talking about the story, it really doesn't belong in this section.

Also, please break what you're saying into reasonable-sized sentences. It's actually hard to read it with the way you have it right now
