| hmm...before I blame a hardware problem, you might want to check out the Keyboard Control Panel and see if "US" is the only keyboard installed. If that is the case, then you might want to try reconnecting the keyboard. If that fails, then maybe it is a keyboard hardware thing but I doubt it. I think there is something on your computer that causes your keyboard to do something weird... | |||

| This is the first I've heard of G4. Can you please tell me who they are as I do not have the time to find out? anyways, I've never been much of a TechTV watcher except to see what anime they air. I can give TechTV thanks for showing me there was more of my favorite anime series when I thought there wasn't anymore  |

Nen, well that was given... Schmidt...dang--it seems like the Giants are going to have to work a lot harder this year. I hate to say it but I think they are going to come up short making the playoffs this year  Anyways, I think as long as NYY doesn't win the WS, then I will like this baseball season |

| NT line of OSes have memory management, 9x doesn't...so therefore, 9x wouldn't have such a thing... anyways, NT can't automatically free memory because how would it know what memory to free? but then again, memory management is weird in NT so yeah... |

| heh...they are a collector's item...that is why they are expensive... i was lucky to find a place that was selling at a flat place instead of on ebay, where i've seen them go for at least $300 dollars and more. they are pretty cool and bigger than they appear...the barrel of the gun is a foot long... |

did you notice this?i was lucky to find a place that was selling at a flat place instead of on ebay, where i've seen them go for at least $300 dollars and more. if you can show me an ebay auction that ends with the gun costing less than $200 after S/H...then i spent too much.  in my opinion, this was as good as a deal i could have ever gotten... |

| i'm not familar with norton ghost but I think that is a HD restore software, meaning it reverts your HD back to a previously saved state. This would mean, that if you have stuff that is important and do not want to lose, you would need to take that stuff off and put it somewhere else before you continue. Anyways, maybe you would check out www.symantec.com to find more information about what Norton Ghost is and how to use it. |

| if your sound card is built into the motherboard, then you should go to the motherboard's homepage and get those drivers. the drivers for an installed sound card do not work the same way as the drivers for built in sound. anyways, i believe jasukan's program will tell you the type of sound card you have and hopefully the mother board manufacturer. |

| well...if the software grabs keystrokes, then you might want to not chat since your dad could get your password that way... as for the monitoring stuff well...maybe if you use another browser, it will get around it? other than that well...there isn't much you can do until you get more self sufficient... |

| what is right and what is wrong is all relative. without wrong, you can't define right and without right, you can't define wrong. the phrase, "i'm right, you're wrong" to me carries more solid direction than "i disagree." i dunno--i think society as a whole resorts to that phrase because we are all brought up learning what is right and wrong, not what is agreeable and disagreeable... anyways, for the red light situation--as long as you are 110% sure no one is going to get harmed for running it, why not? however, it isn't my fault if a cop nails you for doing so... |

| no it won't...if you had CDs that came with the computer, you might try popping those CDs in and see what they do--i have a feeling at least one of the CDs should be motherboard related. if not, sometimes motherboards have their makers printed on them somewhere. |
