*chuckles*

Wow, I am starting to see really stupid reasons...

Luigi is skinnier, therefore he takes better care of himself...? *chortle* OK, that's just kinda messed up, there's not much basis. I know people who sit on their butts all day who aren't fat.

I WILL admit, however, that Luigi does show more emotion in 'Mansion' and 'M+LS' Why? Because Mario's USED to saving people, and Luigi isn't. Luigi has less courage, and that's something that no doubt makes him more appealing to many people.

Me? Well, Mario has just as much fear as Luigi- we all have fear. It's just that Mario is better at dealing with it. I wouldn't be happy if the love of my life was kidnapped, but if Mario shows that fear, his foes would take even more advantage of it.

Bah. Just a blurb.

The original is classic. Super Circuit is nice. Mario Kart 64 brings back the most memories...

But Double Dash!! brought enough innovation and great solid gameplay to earn the top spot on my list. With so many characters, items, tracks, unlockables, etc...I just can't deny it.

But Mario Kart 64 is the game that really brought the series out there, and it's definitely second for me.

Yes, there's no denying it. Mario RPG is one of the games I value most. It's sheer awesomeness. It does, indeed, hold a special place in my heart. If it weren't for that game, who knows what would've become of me...Chrono Trigger/Cross...FFVII...Who knows if I would've been interested in them...?

But the question is which one is the best as a game. And I still look at Paper Mario as the best of the three in general. It had everything it should've, it just lacked that Squaresoft touch, is all. But otherwise it was great.

The original Mario RPG just...Is boring, now. After beating it 7 times and mastering it, it feels more like your average RPG. But the idea it brought- bringing action to turn based battles- was VERY awesome, and I'm glad that Paper Mario and SS have further evolved this practice.

SEVEN! SEVEN SEVEN SEVEN SEVEN!!

Whew. One Winged Angel and the overworld theme (at least some nicer, mor3e orchestrated versions I've heard of them) are just the bomb.

But Terra's Theme IS wicked cool, ESPECIALLY the remix 'Terra in Black.'

Yea, Terra IS pretty cool...

Sephiroth wins for me hands-down on villain...

Hero? OOH, boy...

Um...I personally like Cloud. He looks like crap in the game for the most part, but Advent Children makes him look as cool as I'd imagined. He's mentally messed up, has memories that are screwy, and is just as confused and afraid as the rest of us. BLECH. Then there's SQUALL. Eck...

Tidus? I like Tidus. He's dorky yet cool somehow...'

Buit I'd say Cloud as the main fav. *shrug* And Aeris is awesome.

Yep.

It's hard to draw a line on maturity...That's for sure...Because if you aren't talking about being sexually mature, then...Well, then it's all opinion.

Once a person takes responsibility for their actions and can take care of themselves...Then I guess I'd call them mature.

Hmph.

Then I guess you wouldn't be worth Kario's time...

If a woman truly loves someone, (or vice versa) they'd be willing to wait an eternity and go through hell and back for them...

Funny enough, I feel this way about someone, yet I don't want to go out with them because THAT turned out to be a damned soap opera...

But I still want to be her friend, and who knows what'll happen in the future...

Forgive me for not reading this whole thread and only the last page (pressed for time), but what I can say is that...Well, someone getting punished for hanging out with their friends is just retarded, I'll bet there's more to it than that...

Sounds like an overprotective parent to me...*cough*

Hope things get better...

OK, well...First of all...

FOUR DAYS?! People don't fall in love in four days.

I'll bet you probably LIKE HER a lot...And hopefully care about her dearly as a friend, at least.

The way I see it, you'd BETTER be best friends with your GF, otherwise you don't really have a relationship, you have physical stuff goin'...

And from the sounds of it, I know how you feel, and after a year I still don't know how to describe it...But I do love her. Am I IN LOVE with her...? Don't know.

Don't you love your friends, your family? I love her in that way, too. Love- caring about someone with all of your heart.

But yea, don't go all dramatic quite yet, she's probably not ready...Give yourself time to decide how you feel...Would you give your life for her? Then you're probably in love, but I doubt that's how you feel.

Just take it easy, get to know her better...Everyone has two sides, and some people take them on and off like masks...Hopeflly hers are both blended together.

Sounds to me like you're a little younger and your hormones might be influencing you...(I'm 17, and I'll say that I'm a bit jealous because you actually get cuddled, where I get NOTHING but getting yelled at for crap I never did...)

But...Who knows what'll happen? People don't usually find true love on their first shot, but some do.

Mwha.

It seems like a landslide.

The first was what started it all, yes, but the 3rd is classic. The 3rd is what made Mario GREAT. And damn, am I glad to own that classic on the GBA...Now I can play it anywhere I want...And I don't have to worry about whether or not it'll work when I turn it on!

*points to first quote in sig maniacally*

Yep, definite proof of one of my big beliefs about life.

Everyone has two sides.

This guy sounds like a asshole, all right. But he sounds like there's a good side to him.

Question is, is that good side GENUINE? Even if it IS, the other question is how much you love him...? Do you love his good side more than you hate his bad side? Answer that question.

Once you know the answer to that, then you know whether to back off from him or give him another shot.

However, even if that were to happen, you being treated like this is unacceptable, and he'd better not expect you to come back just because he gets all happy for a little while.

*sigh*

I hate to sound so critical...I used to trust people very easily, so I got screwed over numerous times...So now I have more trouble trusting people than before, and I hate it...

Ah, well...I really hope things work out, but it sounds to me like this jerk doesn't give a crap about you...I'd say move on, you've given him plenty of chances, from what I understand.

Obviously, the choice is yours, though.

Mario...is just MARIO.

That's about it. He's pretty well-balanced, etc.

But I usually play as Toad, because he's faster. ' Mario's got my vote, though, because he's my fav.

Hm? Yoshi's Isle? What?

Yoshi's ISLAND? That game was wicked fun back in the day...Haven't played it in a few years, but if I did, I assure you I'd still be able to get 100% on just about every stage on my first go.

Hm...That one dungeon in World 8 of Mario Bros. 3 always stumped me...But it's really not that hard when you know where to go.

Mario World was relatively easy...

Now, Mario Bros: The Lost Levels! THOSE are some fun Mario stages.

But the hardest Mario stages I've seen would have to be some of the concoctions I've made/played with Lunar Magic. Hehe...

Paper Mario had a proper level-up system. It made perfect sense. Obviously, M&L has a more classic style.

M&L IS an awesome game.

But it's just to short...I dunno...It's missing what Paper Mario had. The flair, the classic Mario-ness...It's a great game, and it's wicked that Mario and Luigi work together, but...

The only 'side-quest' type deals are, like...The mini-games.

Besides, Paper Mario's Badge point system wins hands down for the equipment system, I've gotta admit. Perfect for strategy...

I just wish Paper Mario had a harder difficulty level or something...

You go through SuperStar Saga in this fashion:

Pea Badges on both Bros.
Work pants on both Bros.

Through the WHOLE GAME. Bad guys are doing, like, half your HP to you by the end of the game. MWAHA! Now that's fun. My 99 Super Mushrooms, and 99 1-Up Supers might actually come into play!

But after playing that game for about 60 hours (HOLY CRAP!! O_o Didn't realize it...) you won't need too many of them.

Yea, Anya's right. (Ah, good, once again.) You just need to hang in there, EVERYONE goes through crap in their lifetime...

It's like I always say- if your life doesn't have ups and downs (like a heartbeat) then you're a flatline. (Which means you're DEAD.)

Things WILL get better sooner or later, I PROMISE you.

Just DON'T do anything stupid, OK? By stupid, I mean cutting your arms, or making yourself throw up, or suicide, or anything like that. OK? DO NOT DO THAT!!!

Hurting yourself like that is about the worst thing you could do, especially now.

Where's your friends? Your family? You have to have SOMEONE who can help you...

Godspeed, then.

*chuckle*

OK, to be SERIOUS, as you asked, there are different ways of being a man or a woman. It's opinion, my friend!

Maturity is basically what you're asking for, right?

Sexually mature? After puberty.

Mentally mature? After college.

Emotionally mature? When you can take responsibility for your own actions...

I can see a little boy being a better man than many 'adults'. It just depends on the boy, obviously.

African Americans males were called 'Boy!' back in the Civil Rights era, etc...

A Jew is a man when he reaches 16...

American folks reach legal maturity ovr teh course of the ages 16-21, as they gain all their 'grown-up' rights. Doesn't mean they can use them responsibly...

Hm. Yep, all I have to do here is point down to Anya's post ( Damn! Every time... ) and tell you that I think she's right.

She doesn't give her enough enough credit for being mature, but she sounds like it to me.

There's a good citizen right there!

I kinda don't have any money, though...'

But I could give you all the emotional support you need!

You've got a lot of people behind you, try not to get SO down.

I'm assuming you live in a city, too...Rough places, they can be. If you're not careful, they'll chew you up and spit you out- except, well, they don't spit you out, they spit you back IN.

*cough*

Transsexual? Is that the same thing as a bisexual?

Geez, people are friggin' idiots these days...

We're all human beings here- as far as I know. If it's not skin color, it's religion, or home country, or musical tastes, or SPORTS TEAMS, for Din's sake, and nowadays its sexual orientation!!!

DAMN, do people piss me off...

If everyone stopped paying attention to what's different, and started lookin' at what's the SAME, they'd realize that all people ARE, in fact, PEOPLE and deserve respect.

As for another thing, I had a bad feeling you already HAD done those things, but seriously, DON'T DO THEM EVER AGAIN!!!

OK?! This is not a joking matter! I'm not here replying to this because 'message forums are fun,' I'm here because I want to help people out, and if you're going to take any of my advice, don't ever do anything like that again!
