| (OOC: Not sure if you guys want to continue this seeing as there's quite a few busy stories going right now, but, might as well...) ******** A slow whistle had settled over the Wily fortress, nestled deep in the barrens outside of the massive Megalopolis. No one save for the guardians of the fort noticed the multiple breaches made in its security system in a relatively short amount of time - but that would change. Slowly a koopa walked up the plateau, staring blankly at the gargantuan compound. Heaving a sigh, he made his way towards the entrance. It appeared he would find help at long last. Hoisting a large key over his shoulder, he pressed on. ******** Max swung up, lifting his buster and firing out a massive blast of energy at the ninja pirate - he could only grit his teeth as the projectile was suddenly flung off course, as all of the attempted attacks were, blasting a massive hole in the wall in the process. "...GOD! ...that's some potent ninja magic he's got there... and I don't wanna know what else he's got in store..." |

((Actually.. I was kinda waiting for the archieve to come back up to see what we left off of  ))Kirbynite: Oooooh! That was sooo cooool! *_* Quickly shrugging off a slight obsessive-like feeling, Kirbynite attempted to come up with a strategy. Pondering to himself, the pink creature managed to come up with an idea. He reached underneath his cap, and pulled out a shiney Gold Coin he had found back at Toad Town. Kirbynite: Hey, Mr. Ninja Pirate! Looky at what I've got! Kirbynite tossed the coin across the room, hoping the pirate-side of the foe would notice it. |

| ((I hope JDavis won't mind this...)) Ninja Pirate Man: Yarr... I believe that be mine, ya electrical bilgerat! Kirbynite: Zex! No! Ninja Pirate Man, with his ninja-like skills, vanished from sight. He reappeared every so often, getting closer and closer to the Gold Coin. After a blinding flash, both Zex and Ninja Pirate Man were seen gripping the coin. Kirbynite: ... Great.. So much for that... Ninja Pirate Man: Hand over this piece o' gold before I make ya walk the plank! Kirbynite: Hopefully Zex can do still fight like that.. |

| Ninja Pirate Man: *gives Zerodius an awkward look* Pilfering seamonkies! Did ye think ye can upload a Cucco virus on me? The robot master took out a long blade, and slashed at Zex, with quick ninja speed. The attack knocked Zex off. Ninja Pirate Man began to give out a hardy laugh. He laughed until an object was impaled through its chest plate. Kirbynite: Ack! I didn't mean to do that.... Kirbynite had chucked his Star Rod at the distracted robot. Ninja Pirate Man lost its grip on the coin, and collapsed onto the ground. A substance that resembled oil leaked out of the body, creating a puddle on the floor. Kirbynite: ... Atleast that did the trick... |

| Max slowly crept toward one of the Snipers, freezing as it spun around. They both quickly brought up their blasters, both weapons charging up with a loud buzz. | Kirbynite, after thanking for Zex's retrieval of the Star Rod, continously swung his weapon while he ran into the flood of robot roadblocks. Kirby figured out his weapon was capable of deflecting shots, and took advantage of it. A feeling of joy slipped out onto his face as he slid through a small line of tiny yellow-helmetted robots. Several of the robots fell down a nearby gap. Metool:  Aiiieee!Smacking the metallic flooring with the Star Rod, Kirbynite vaulted across a bed of spikes. At the end of his jump, he remained stationery and looked ahead. Kirbynite: Guys! I see another door up ahead! |

As Kirbynite neared the door, a siren began going off, and the door's defenses quickly activated - they were ready for everyone this time around. However, as seven sentry guns, neatly lined up in a row, all pointed their double turrets at Kirbynite, a chain went flying over the row of turrets, lodging the hook on it's end in the wall right next to the door. Melvin: Smithy! Activate rocket skates! Smithy: Right! Smithy was putting on a pair of rollerblades with large bottle rockets attatched to them. A giant brown box, filled with styrofoam pellets nearby read "ACME ROCKET SKATES, ONE PAIR". Smithy bent over, and lit both of the bottle rockets as Melvin climbed on his back, while holding the hookshot in his left hand. The fuses continues to shorten, and... BLOOSH! Smithy and Melvin suddenly both turned into a gigantic flying fireball, that rolled down the hallway, turning all seven turrets into scrap metal as they barreled through them and eventually crashed in a heap after hitting the wall. | Finally, Kirbynite reached the door. Once again, the rooms seemed to shift around our heroes, and they found themselves in the next boss room. As they looked around, it did not appear that there was anyone in the room with them. JDavis: Hello? Any Robot Master home? ... Guess not. Gutsman: *walks up to the door on the opposite side of the room* It won't open... Ran: Perhaps Wily was not prepared for an attack on his fortress just yet? Quint: No... He's always prepared... Draco: Maybe that Megaman guy destroyed one of the Robot Masters and Wily had to compensate by moving the rest so that we'd face them one room sooner. Quint: Even if he had to re-use an old Robot Master, Wily wouldn't leave an RM room empty. Jack: Hey, Duo. Think you can knock down this door? Duo: Negative. It seems to be made of the same substance as the helmets those "metools" we ran into earlier wore. JDavis: ... Anyone else get the eerie feeling that there IS someone in here besides us? The group hears an evil chuckle and turns around to see a figure stepping out from a dark corner of the room. A dark red aura surrounds it. ???: You guys aren't so stupid after all. Quint: Bass?!  Forte: That's Forte to you, dear brother! |
