| How big is it supposed to be!? I may sound dumb. If the answer is obvious, or if it's already been asked, don't hesitate to trash this. EDIT: Aww..... not nice! No one's going to tell me! | 1st of, don't sound like a n00b. You can add all size of backgrounds in a scheme, I uses one with 1024*768 and it works. BTW: Maybe you can't see the BG, because it needs to load and you didn't wait. A big background is larger and needs more to load or you made something wrong. |

| What exactly is it that you're trying to do? It might help if you just tell us what you want your layout to look like, if you're finding it hard to explain. For changing the font color, you can choose either of these: Method 1) [????]your text here[./color] Replace the question marks with the name of the color you want to use. Look in the FAQ for a list of colors that you can choose from, and make sure to remove the period from the beginning of the closing tag. Method 2) <.font color="?????">your text here<./font> This time, if you use this, remove the periods at the beginning of each of the tags to begin with. The question marks with either be replaced with the name of the color you want to use (look around on the internet to find a list of those, as there's way too many to list here), or you can use the hexadecimal code of the color you want. If you choose to use the latter, you need to add a pound sign (#) before the hex code. In each of those methods, the opening tag (either [color] or <.font color="?????">) will go in the post header section of the Edit Layout Page, and the closing tag (either or <./font>) will go at the very end of your signature, after everything else. As far as the size of the background image, I'd consider somewhere around 400-500 Kb if it's a non-tileable image, and 10-100 Kb if it is tileable. If anyone else wants to correct me on that, feel free, but that's just what I've been going by  This last bit is just a suggestion, but if you still require help with your layout (which to me is what this thread seems to be based around), it'd probably be in your best interest to post further questions, etc. in this thread.
