| WOW, a lot of you people have complete mental issues... By the way, ARR, you don't have to have a spaz attack, missy.  I didn't mean to get you so riled up. I just don't see why you watse so much time talking about something you hate so much...I mean, you must really have a lot of spare time on the net or something...And NO, you DID NOT explain why you didn't like the show. At least in THAT post you gave more of an opinion. 'It sucks' tells us NOTHING except that you don't like it. And I didn't say only people who hated it had to go in depth. I went in depth as to why I liked it, now didn't I? I'm amazed that we have more people here who HATE the show than like it. I just can't comprehend why people who HATE something would TOTALLY WASTE THEIR TIME telling a freak such as myself OVER AND OVER again. *shrug* Maybe you guys should take a chill pill or something, it's just a mesage forum. I'm no opinion police, I just hate to see posts such as 'This show sucks,' or 'how can anyone watch this?' I also would not posts that say, 'This show rox my sox!' and leave it at that. They're both just as wasteful as the other. So calm down, the lot of ye. It's just a MESSAGE BOARD, laddies (and lassie). Brain tumor... Yep. Isn't it strange?  But seriously, folks, calm the bloody hell down, would ya? If you hate the show so damned much that you're going to spaz at me when I ask you WHY, then WHY are you still here? Geez...It seems as if what you want is to pick a fight and have an excuse to flame people...If you hate the show, go ahead and say it, and it'd nice if your post had SOME substance to it and explain WHY- like the fatc that someone hates how they think it mocks anime. That's a lot better than 'It sucks,' ya know what I mean? Right then, enough wasting my own time. I was hoping I would get a decent thread going, with people who had reasons to like and dislike the show, not a bunch of rampant narrow-minded posts that yell at me for asking WHY they don't like something. I don't like football. Why? Because I think a bunch of guys busting each other's bones over PIGSKIN is just a complete waste. They can go do that, I guess, but I'm not going to sit and watch and scream at people who hate my team. I'm also not going to 'rip off your arm and beat you over the head with it, making you cry like a baby who has just been hit with a hammer.' If you need to take your aggression out on something, do it on somewhere where people WANT to see SPAM, would ya? Um...Why? That tells me NOTHING except you don't like it. The animation had poorer quality than what I'm used to watching. I hate those little dashed backgrounds when they attack, and I hate the chibi scenes, etc. At least THEN you show you actually know WHY you don't like it. As I asked before, chill out, lady. I wasn't JUST talking about you, and I believe I made that fairly clear. Someone down there posted about how they want to rip off an arm and beat someone on the head. That one was even LESS intelligent than yours. Once again, I ask WHY THE BLOODY HELL you are wasting your time here, when all you want to do is win an argument that you brought upon yourself with the words 'it sucked,' and nothing more. | The theme song is in English but is done by Japanese group Puffy AmiYumi. And yes, it's American, but I don't think Robin's a reason why it's in English. More along the lines of 'Warner Bros. created it.' =P | |||

| I'm the one who started this thread, and it's being overrun by people who HATE it, and THAT is ridiculous. I don't need someone to back me up about that. Geez, for the last time, all I asked for to begin with was WHY you said 'it sucked,' which WAS all you really said to begin with. You said 'this sucks, that sucks,' and that was IT. I was just wondering if you ellaborate. You didn't have to explode on me, which caused me to explode on you. And since when do I influence mods? I don't believe I do. I just think that someone would close this thread if all it is is SPAM, which is what half of it has been. I don't have to 'be careful' about anything, Clokworkz. I KNOW everyone here isn't as sharp as a tack, I'm not saying I'm all that, either. I'm just saying that it's the most ridiculous thing in the world that this thread is being populated mostly by people who HATE this show, it boggles my mind. I simply asked if you guys could give me some details as to WHY you hate the show, or why you despise it, and I still haven't gotten any. I never said you HAD to, I ASKED, and I said it would be NICE if there I could understand your mentality. Now maybe if everyone stopped ganging up on me and tried to understand why the bloody hell I asked my question to begin witn and explained why they exploded on me, perhaps we could reach an understanding. I just wanted to know WHY she doesn't like the show. You can't hate something without a reason, just as you can't like something without a reason. I was saying how it was, really, a fairly spammy post and had no substnce, as Miss ARR seemed to believe I was only talking about her. I spam, too, like everybody else. I was noting how silly it is, since I get yelled at for asking for the PURPOSE behind an opinion. Opinions aren't formed out of thin air, ya know. Now, HOPEFULLY, I won't get another 'smart-ass' remark, so I won't have to give any more out. Treat me with respect and I'll do the same to you. Mock me and I'll mock you back, 'Bucko.' If I have to listen to you, you get to listen to me, but at least I'll explain myself in thorough detail, so as not to confuse you. I believe I've made myself perfectly clear on this whole situation, and I hope it's done with, as it's a complete waste of time. I honestly don't care what you post, but since this is a thread I started for a purpose, I would really like to see that purpose carried out, instead of sucuumbing to a pointless waste of time and thought. Now, then, shall we drop that and discuss the damned show, the whole reason I started this thread to begin with? The Japanese version of the song is the same tune and style, just with Japanese lyrics. Once in a while, they'll play the Japanese version of the theme. Because a Japanese band played it, that's probably why they also have a Japanese version. I think Japanese Animation can be both awful and great. Teen Titans makes fun of everything I find totally stupid about Japanese animation, such as chibi's, strange facial expressions, and other freakish effects. American animation is just as psycho, just in different ways. At least when the Titan's mouths move, they actually look like they might be talking instead of opening and closing their mouths. I mean, honestly, I like to have some realism in my character's faces. It's good to see their eyes, arms, and eyebrows MOVING SEMI-FLUIDILY in scenes, instead of them twicthing repeatedly, grunting on occasion. Of course, the Dragonball series has many good example of things that irritate me about Anime, and it's not a very good example of good anime, in my opinion. However, Studio Ghibli is just AMAZING. Lots of quality goes into that stuff, a lot more than most shows we are exposed to here in America, anyway. The whole point of mocking anime is for comedy. I doubt they hate that animation, otherwise they wouldn't DRAW it. You have to like anime to make fun of it the way they do. |

| Wow..so much drama over opinions..everyones entitled to their own opinions. No matter how much they want to go into talking about. You can't force people to but you expect it so I guess..yeah..anyways Yeah, I think it's a decent show. I don't hate it or not like it so I guess that means I like it . It's not a show I'd watch consistently since it's on WAY too early in the morning..well not really I'm just not up by that time. It has it's funny cutsey moments and then it has it's dull boring moments. The animation of it is much better than other shows. There hasn't really been any good shows like this one in awhile. | It's about time. I don't see what I ever did wrong, and I can't believe you people are trying to ban me over a simple question...Geez...Shows what the world's coming to. Threats via message boards? Wow, my opinion tells me that some people should calm down, I'm done with all of this junk. *sigh* 'Red, the blood of angry men! Black, the dark of ages past!' Anyway, Teen Titans is actually one kind of late... You must be referring to Kids WB. Yes, it's on too early for me there... But Cartoon Network, who originally started airing it, plays it three times a week. These times are from where I live in NY, so I don't know how they might be altered. Saturday nights at 9 pm. Sunday nights at 10 pm. Saturday afternoon at 12 pm. Usually they'll play the same episode on all three times, then start with a different one on Saturday night. Yes, Teen Titans DOES indeed have a point behind it. Yes, it's a little sappy that every episode seems to have a moral to it, but a few of them are not so clear about what thet lesson is, and you may not notice it at all. Episodes like 'Transformation' and 'Every Dog Has His Day' are good examples of episodes that I would call 'cutesy' and show their lesson WAY too obviously. |
