| Yep, that's right, baby!! Robin, Starfire, Beastboy, Cyborg, and Raven...and, well, Terra, but... The Teen Titans! Since their debut early in the summer of '03, I can't say they've revoltionized TV of course. But nonetheless, I am SO totally addicted to this show, and I eagerly await the end of Season 2! With a great blend of fuilid American Animation with anime styles- along with its great sense of animation humor, TT is a great show for someone who likes their shows 'just plain freaky.' But underneath its action/comedy exterior (though I love those elements) Teen Titans is also well written, for the most part. It has decent amounts of character development and plot. But where the show really shines is the personalities the characters radiate. It's one of the few cartoons out there where I love every character for who they are! Hell, I even like Slade. Robin- Because he's just so much damn cooler without Batman. Beastboy- He's goofy, optimistic, and sensitive. Always striving to be noticed, and always failing- I doubt a moped's gonna do him any good. Cyborg- He's laid back, throws some humor into the mix, and come on- he's just all BOOYAH! Raven- A very mysterious character. I love Raven not because of how she acts. I like her because she's really a bit psychotic and very emotional- hence the whole point to her meditation- she has to keep her powers under control. Starfire- the character I feel I relate with the most. She's so much like me, despite the obvious outside differences we have. Well, duh, I'm a guy. I also refrain from conversing with such proper pronunciation and grammar. I'm also not from Tamaran. But...Deep down inside...I feel like her. Lost, out of place... Starfire is so honest and open with her emotions, and she often gets odd looks because of that- as do I. Our honesty and sincerity almost SCARES people in a freaky kind of way. But we both really care about people and want to make them happy and help them. Hm...Now that I think about it, Starfire would make the ideal girlfriend for me...*sweatdrop/blush* Ya know, if she was real, etc.  Ahehe...ummm...But, well, she kinda likes Robin. DUR. And another thing- where do people get off saying that Beastboy and Raven were 'meant for eachother'?! I mean, sure, it's a cute thought- it just doesn't WORK. By the way, if any of you guys like Teen Titans, I'm writing a Teen Titans fanfic, I think you'll like it if you're a freak like me. If you're interested, just ask, I can hook you up to it. Sooo... I'm kinda half-asleep, now, so I'll let someone else start a conversation now... |

| I'm not that big of a fanatic, but I do like the show. Starfire is a bit too...innocent. I don't buy it. Raven, put simply, is the cat's ass. Oh, and there's the other three, but who cares. |

| I've only seen a few episodes, but they were pretty entertaining. Ever seen Batman: The Animated Series before? I have, and it's kind of strange watching Teen Titans in comparison. On one hand you have this dark, serious, semi-realistic type animation; and on the other there's several elements from anime weaved in, mostly the comic ones. I think the production crew still needs a little work blending the two styles together. But, like I said before, it's not a bad show at all.  |

| When I first saw this, I thought you were talking about the cartoon-based Teen Titans: Go written by J. Torres (which is just gag-me-with-a-spoon awful). Well, luckily enough, it's not. The TV series is awesome. It goes in depth with the characters and all that. Plus, the fight scenes are awesome. *grin* |

| Raven IS the cat's ass- but I like all of them for different reasons. What? What's this 'she's too innocent, I don't buy it' stuff?! That's EXACTLY why I like Starfire so much. Because I DO buy it...because, well...I'm like that...  To a tee, actually...Thing is, I keep it inside a lot of the time- kinda like Raven does.That's why I admire her courage. Starfire doesn't care if people think she's strange- well, no actualy, she does. ' She just doesn't KNOW she's strange, as did I mere months ago.Starfire's character is, indeed, very real. Of course, the whole way she speaks is weird, but hey, she speaks better English than most of us probably do!  But trust me, I've met people like Starfire, and I think I'm one myself. And people like you are probably WHY we get rejected so much...because everyone ELSE thinks we're full of crap, and that we're 'fake,' when we really DO care about people and really DO want to make them happy...I can relate very much with Starfire's feelings for Robin- the fact that she wants him to be happy, but he kind of won't let her...He has to be his own man and take care of his own problems, I guess...I know what that's like, to care about someone so much, to want to make them happy- only for them to not give a shit and push you away... Soooo...Do any of you guys relate with any of the Titans like that? |

| Well, it depends on the show really. If it were Totally Spies, then yes, it sucks. But let's take Teen Titans as an example. It does sometimes overuse the chibi and other japanese styles, but if used properly and under a certain extent, then it can provide for excellent comic relief. Like in Season Two's Transformation or Winner Take All (Dwayne McDuffie = Genius), sure, they were a bit overused, but those were probably some of the most entertaining episodes I've seen. So let's not just say 'it all sucks' because it's more of a 'in the right hands' situation. | |||

| Although, I disagree with you on most of what you said, I do agree that the theme song sucks lemons. I read something about the artists who did the song: Puffy AmiYumi Gets New Animated Series in December The group that sings the TEEN TITANS theme song is getting their own animated series! Cartoon Network announced that the Japanese pop group Puffy AmiYumi would be getting their own animated series - Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. In the musical TV tradition of the Monkees, Partridge Family and Josie and the Pussycats, Hi Puffy AmiYumi. follows the musical misadventures of Ami and Yumi. Sam Register [senior vice president, original animation for Cartoon Network} described the series as "Hello Kitty meets Led Zeppelin." | Um...That's kinda weird... Nextly, I thought Transformation sucked. Winner Take All wasn't too great, either. Their plots were horrible...I mean, Transformation had a good idea, going, but...It just didn't do it right. Winner Take All had no real plot, just a lesson and some comedy. Now episodes like Terra, Masks, or The Apprentice (I + II) are good example of Teen Titans episodes, methinks. If you hate the show so much, why are you here posting multiple times how much you hate the show? I like Americanime, because Anime gets too weird, and American is a little too boring. Yes, TT does overdo sometimes, but they also do it at the PERFECt times, too. Besides, it adds some variety. At least they're not constantly wiggling around lik those awful 'Eds' from that show I dislike... |

| Teen Titans is probably one of the best animated non-anime show to appear within two years. But at times Teen Titans gets boring as hell. So I regress back to anime. Edit: Okay let me rephrase something. It is one of the best animated shows to come out but that doesn't mean squat since it doesn't have a lot of competition in the quality department. | Bah, you fool. You didn't GET IT. If you hate Teen Titans, why, pray tell, are you wasting your time here telling us? Oh, well, not you, really. The other guys up THERE. You're definitely entitled to post your opinion. I just don't get WHY you would come here if you HATE IT...I mean, I hate WWE...So I don't go to the WWE section. Why WOULD I? I don't like it. So I should waste my tim etelling people- THIS IS GAY, MY EYES BLEED JUST BY WATCHING IT. I mean...It's just kinda pointless unless you're going to IN DEPTH and explain WHY you dislike it so much...I guess some of the posts of there were pretty good, because they had depth to them, even though they were negative. Teen Titans is a bit boring/ out there sometimes. That's why I like it. It breaks the mold- at least right now. It combines everything I like about American animation and adds in Anime bits, too, and often using them to great comical effect. I mean, Inusyasha is the cat's ass...er...dog's ass...er...Kagome's ass...? O_o Er, it's an awesome show, my fav anime. But when I see characters talking like that, it drives me insane. Their mouths wiggle in two frames over and over- OK, OK, sometimes three. Then there's Princess Mononoke, which is just BEAUTIFYUL animation...My GAWD...I was awestruck... Soooo... Your reasons for disliking the show were as follows: Everything sucks. Damn, I hate this show. Sooo....What substance does that have...? I mean, that's fine and good, it's a start...WHY does the theme suck? WHY does the anime-mocking suck? (though it's not mocking, it's picking fun at anime...Besides, if Anime was so perfect, they would have nothing to pick fun at...) Since you hate this show so much, I'm confused as to why you waste your time here...  But it is good that we get both sides- try to explain yourself, though. I could list to you why I hate WWE, but this isn't about WWE, and I doubt you care about my opinion on WWE.  |

oh no opinion police!!!!  I explained why I dislike it. I don't have to go in-depth into the lyrics, because you know it's stupid. I don't have to go in-depth into the fake anime thing, because everyone else already has. I don't study anime, but their attempts are distracting from what I'm watching. It ruins it. The plots don't "break the mold", they fight and try to teach valuable lessons. What about that girl who's always glum? A DEPRESSED TEENAGER? also, if you're going to attack people for not going in-depth, don't just go for the group of people whose opinion differs from yours. |
