| My OS history probably goes something like this: B/W Mac -> color Mac -> DOS -> Win3.1 -> Win95 -> Win98SE -> Win2K Technically, the first computer I worked with was probably the Apple IIc in elementary school, but it didn't really have an OS per se. I believe I was introduced to Macs in middle school, and my first home computer only had DOS. Win3.1 came along shortly afterwards, but I hardly ever used it for the longest time...DOS just felt so much more comfortable. I still miss the true "exit to DOS" option.  |

| The first one I had was MacOS 7.0.1 in 1992, but I've seen MacOS 6 a year earlier ... both before Windows 3.1 too. That's the oldest I remember, but I'm pretty sure I've seen DOS or something similar at least once before that ... | The Apple IIe was my first. Then I think it was windows 95. Then to 98 and now to XP. I have seen ME and such but I never really wanted to mess with it. I never have really seen why Mac is worth the money, so I stayed away from it. |
