Well, I'm taking my font's pixel width and multiplying it by the length of the string I'm trying to display, but I get cut off words if I go too high, or too low. Is there something I should know about this?

Maybe the space between letters. Provide more detail. =(

Whoa, whoa whoa. There's space between the text? XD That must be it. I'll post a pic in a sec, Roger and Me is on. <3 Edit: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/windwaker101/text.png code for width: $width = imagefontwidth('fonts/arial.ttf'); $width = $width * $len + $len - 1; (edited by windwaker on 02-12-05 02:55 AM) |

You are aware that Arial is not a fixed-width font, correct? Some letters will be wider than others.

So there's two things I can do. 1) find a fixed width font. 2) keep one fixed width of the image. I think I'll do 2, as that was what I was planning to do the entire time... I don't even know why I was trying to do this. (edited by windwaker on 02-12-05 09:44 PM) |
