This years E3 look like it may be the biggest in history. With 3 systems being unvield and titles for the existing 6 system. This ones gonna be huge.

Im mostly interested in the Next Gen consoles. I want to see what exactly the Revolution is, and what the PS3 and XBox 2 are capable of.

Ive already seen stuff on Elder Scrolls:Oblivion and Condemned which are slated for release on XBox2 and PS3, and they look simply amazing. I also head that the PS3 and XBox2 will be able to generate "Shrek like Graphics" seems unliky, but interesting still.

What I havnt heard about is Revolution at all, well except for Rumors. Sure Nintendo likes to suprise, but people want sneak peeks. We havnt even begun the next generation yet and already Nintendo seems to be falling behind.

I heard back then that PS2 would be able to render Toy story 2 like graphics... so.

Nintendo always like to hide things when it comes to the next generation. They probably aren't behind, just... sneaky. I think that Nintendo rather goes on the "a system that people will afford" approch than the "OMG GRAPHICS!!!". I would love it if it had a combitality with the Gamecube since. Which shouldn't be hard since I heard it's going to use the same graphics card manufactor and going to use PowerPC again.

And I can't wait for a few more DS games getting announced.

Yeah, is Infinium Labs STILL trying to pretend that they're a real company, and that the Phantom won't live up to its name?

I heard they had some issues with some Porn industry or something, in my latest Gamepro. (could have been Game Informer)

But yeah, I'm definitely interested in the newest systems. Knowing NIntendo though, I wouldn't be surprised if they change the systems name sometime soon. (Nintendo Dolphin anyone? Weird name, but was Gamecube better? )

I hope to get to see more of Final Fantasy XII also, and maybe some fusking Perfect Dark Zero / After Dark whatever. (Even though it's supposed to be in production for the Xenon / Xbox 2 now, I WANT TO SEE IT!!! :<

The next Zelda game will probably be one of the greatest games ever, but I could really careless to see more about it. Nintendo's good at keeping their games a secret. Besides, what does hype / to much info lead to? Another Halo 2. I barely knew anything about Metroid Prime, but when I bought it and beat it, its remained as one of my favorite games of all time ever since. (Just an example)

But yeah, I just hope to see info about the next generation systems, if we -don't- that would be very surprising, considering that Microsoft is still saying that the Xbox 2 will hit store shelves this Winter season.

I wouldn't worry about Nintendo just yet. You have nothing to lose from going into E3 with no info about your new system; you have everything to lose if it doesn't go over well. I know they don't want to give away everything at once, but if the system isn't playable or if it doesn't create a buzz, then you can worry.

If nothing else, they'd better have the next Mario at the show.

Well, I can predict one thing. Nothing on Mario 128

New systems may be interesting to look at, but my eye is set on new games. I want here and now (Or near future )

I just want Mario Kart DS. Revolution will be awesome, no doubt, but I wonder if it'll really have any special features? It'd be cool to see something totally new and different instead of just a more powerful graphics card, faster CPU and more memory.

That better be at the show.

I've heard way too many rumors about the system. I'm sure Nintendo has something up their sleeve, but their idea of "revolution" might be totally different from mine.

One of the things I read said something along the lines of "No matter how much more powerful systems are getting, they're still just working with the same setup: you're holding a controller which is tethered to a system which is tethered to the TV. We're going to change that." (I'm heavily paraphrasing from memory.)

I don't know WHAT the hell to make of that.

I heard they are taking out the D-pad.
Gunpei Yokoi's d-pad.
The one that's been in every Nintendo system.
The one by the guy who invented handheld gaming.
The one who tragically died in a car accident.
The one who's rolling over in his grave now most likely.

I love Nintendo, but after I learned about that guy and about the Revolution...

It just hasn't been the same new system to me...

Mhm, I guess that's a problem if you attach a symbolic importance to the D-Pad. I like it a lot, but to say taking out the D-Pad is disrespectful to Gunpei Yokoi is like saying giving color to the Gameboy is disrespectful to him.

I don't really mind the D-pad... if it wasn't so damn small on the current Gamecube controller. It should just have been bigger and it should have been easier to press the diffrent directions.

I remember when the newspaper said that the creator of Mario died. When they meant Gunpei Yokoi... that was so wrong.

I wouldn't mind it taken out if it for a good reason, and hey it's just a rumour. Not anything offical yet.

At least, i'm expecting wireless stuff in-built. If there is nice features used together with the DS so...

I'm sorta with Zem on that one...that's sorta like saying you're disgracing every visionary's ideas when you hack a game...its just a simple controll pad, and I havn't noticed much of a use for it in the n64/gcn era, personaly..

edit: didn't Gunpe invent the gameboy? How did he invent the controllpad, which was used on the NES, etc?

When i head Gunpei's story on Icons it made me sad. He really was a great man, lets all tip our hats to him. *sniff*

I really want to see the next PSO last year all we got was a trailer that looked really awesome but it didnt show any gameplay. I was a big fan of PSO 1 and 2 and I have high hopes for Universe. Unless its a card battle game.

From now in this thread the word Phantom is taboo, I wouldnt even consider that thing a system. I hate it so much!

I heard that both PS3 and XBox 2 will be playable at E3, but nothing on Revolution. From a consumer stand point would you be hyped up about a game system that you actually got to play, or a game system that you got see trailers of. Dont take this the wrong way, I love Nintendo but they have been really making stupid decisions since the GC was released.

Im gonna be really made if I dont get to see what Mario 128 is, I think Ive waited long enough.

Actually, the PS3 might be revealed to the public BEFORE E3, according to some reports. No specific date announced yet, but I would assume it would be within 1-2 weeks of E3. They'd also have to keep some announcements under their hat for E3.

The Revolution could be playable... or we could just see video... or a concept... or a release date... That's how much we really know about the system. I don't think Nintendo would be stupid enough to just talk about the thing and not show any video or games, but they need to show something since they always no-show the TGS, which wouldn't be a viable alternative. And considering how Nintendo's press conferences are always anticipated... I doubt they want to hear boos from everyone in the room.

Technically, the Phantom IS a gaming system. I've never seen it play any games but apparently it can.

He created the Game and Watch, as well as the D-Pad on it.
