I can try going into parking lots though, thats a good idea. Sometimes I wonder if Im just giddery about not having the car behind me rush me at the light or something. All I know is that I need to break this habit if I plan on passing the driver's test. |

Everyone gets nervous, and they expect that. It's highly unlikely that you'll do worse than the multiple millions of poeple who suck at driving and still were somehow granted licenses. I'm talking to you, city traffic. | |||

Remember, not all cars work the same way nor do they idle or accelerate as fast. It's all relative when it comes down to it. Loosen up before putting your hands on the wheel. You should take your parents out for a spin every once in awhile, if not every day you go to school. After X years of experience they'll be sure to tell you the tricks you need to know. And best of all, it's free. After you master the highway, you can drive just about anywhere in america. They should plan some long trips on the highway so you'll definately get used to the quiet suburbs. I've been though hundreds of scary incidents but never crashed once. I've learned and got used to them, it's best to drive slow and have people flip you off than to drive hastily and eat a dirt sandwich with the reaper for eternity. |

Oh I gotta funny story about the 'having people flipping you off' part you said Raven. The first time my friend took me to Hot Topic, this one old guy past us and flipped us off for no reason at all! She said that she should speed up and flip him off as well but she didn't though. Mainly because we were in a small car and he was in a truck but we laughed about it for a few minutes though. Also, I don't have my license yet. So all I can say is don't panic, listen to the instructer and do you're very best. |

probably another piece of good advice is take your time--just don't take too much time since safety is number one. If it takes you five seconds to start going, then use it that time. Sometimes, going immediately can be dangerous because of red-light runners and such. |
