I prefer the Megaman Battle Network series over other Megaman games, but this still looks pretty interesting  I played one of these games before, although only for a minute or so, as I was trying to get something working for my brother  I obviously don't own any of those games, but I want that one now that I read the page linked to  Yet another thing to add to my list of stuff I want to eventually buy  |

| The only one I haven't played is X5. After X4, you can tell they're running out of ideas. Especially with enemies like Infinity Mijinion and Metal Shark Player. Great gameplay, terrible story. Spoiler: It also seems that in order to keep it interesting, they have to kill Zero off every so often and place Zero and X in an unfamiliar future. |

| Can't wait, loved the game, a lot. I love the X series, I mean the story sucks in all, but I can forgive that if they just let me play the games I never got a hold of. I remember when I was a little kid I saw MMX for sale and wanted it, but never got it ... needless to say, it lead me to a life of piracy. |

| The Dogan: You thought the names were bad in X4, but you haven't seen them in X5-X6? *shrugs* Emptyeye: That's what I've heard too, and that's basically why the X series kind of turns into crap since it was "supposed" to end with X5. The ending was horrible, making it sound like Dr. Wily or Protoman was going to come back, somehow. X6's storyline was even worse. I still wish the final fight, that would completely end the series, would have been between Zero, and X. If you know the ending to X2 well, it basically says as long as they both live, there will be wars. Zero being the last creation by Dr. Wily, he was built to kill X, as I'm sure you all know ... it just would have been more epic if they did that, like Darth Vader turning good at the end of Return of the Jedi. ;P |
