I have too many questions.

Windows Questions

1. I tried dual-booting Windows 98 and Windows 3.11 using a tool called OSR2FIX (So I can run some really old programs). It worked. But now I have a small problem: I need drivers. Are there any drivers for Windows 3.11 for Workgroups that are possibly compatible with the Radeon 7500? Would some older ATI drivers work? I'm awfully tired of 16 color VGA.

Linux Questions (On Red Hat 9)

1. I installed two packages, and then found out that they are not supposed to be both installed at the same time. How do I remove a package? The only things I can remove are components from the Red Hat CD's.

2. For another package I'm trying to install, it bugs me saying it requires the SDL_TTF library. I went and downloaded it, then ran the RPM. It apparently installed, but the system doesn't say it's installed! What's going on?

3. Where can I download OpenGL for Linux? I can't find it, and the Google link on the OpenGL site is broken.

Windows 3.11 should support a generic SVGA driver. If it does not work with the Radeon, I don't know what to tell you, other than a long, hard Google search.

Linux:
1. See RPM Uninstall
2. ???
3. RedHat comes with an OpenGL implimentation (http://www.opengl.org/documentation/implementations.html) The OpenGL site has plenty of resources for working with the API. For example:
http://www.opengl.org/documentation/spec.html
http://www.opengl.org/applications/linux/
http://www.opengl.org/resources/index.html

It's odd that, regarding Linux #3, OpenGL is probably there.

I'm trying to compile PLib for the game Super Tux Kart. PLib's configure doesn't think I have it.

Otherwise, thanks. I haven't tried with Win. 3.1 yet.
