Not bad but there's really no need for it to be an image. Of course, if that was your first attempt at an image output script then that's a good way to get used to it. Images are fun.

You suck! I've never been able to get a php image script to work, excepting when I kinda had a text -> image converter, and that didn't work all that well either. Congrats! |

It's nice, and since you made it in 30 minutes, I'm sure this is like an Alpha / Beta? I would surely say it could be sproosed up, maybe some exp bars and junk, but other than that it's a nice idea. |

Originally posted by Elric It's actually really easy, with a png you just use ImageTTFText, or something like that (*too lazy to dig up the source to mine* ). Then you just need a background image. |

(just as a FYI to everyone, that has absolutly nothing to do with the board, or any board. The "EXP" is actually my Project-Dolphin keycount (which explains why it goes up in leaps and bounds, and not gradually) and the level system was something I made up just for the hell of it. Also, it wouldn't be that hard to make an even better one. The only thing this one does is pastes text onto an empty PNG and draws two boxes |

That's fairly simple to do, using mostly imagerectangle() and imagefilledrectangle() for the box corners and the bar. This is pretty much the same, just no borders, option for transparency and more bars. http://www.tuvai.net/status.php?id=35&fontcolor=ffffff&linecolor=bbddff&bgcolor=557799&transparent=1 (edited by Narf on 02-07-05 10:07 PM) |

Xk: That's perfectly fine. I just learn best by looking at how things are done instead of by reading tutorials. I'm sure I can play with it, cause myself major screwups & hatred towards PHP, and eventually get it to do what I want.

Seriously, do any of you except Xk know how to use php.net? All of this is incredibly easy, people have written so much code that will do it on there.

Thats what I used. It helped out a lot. It is a great way to start to get to know how the images work in PHP.

Php.net, and similar sites, are useless to me. I can't learn what I need to do by reading an indepth tutorial. I need to have something I can get hands on with, and mess with. It's how I learn.
