| OOC All tournament rounds will end in three weeks if eevery battle is active, if not everyone will be alloted another week to post, please use your time wisely, the arena rule hasn't changed, so manipulate all you want. "I'm going in for another round, this guy I know I can beat." Dracoon, a different looking Star, and Origin, were all arguing who was going to be fighting the next round, right in thhe entrance to the arena. "No, you already lost once, we don't need another thing like that again." Origin spoke calmly, but it hit a nerve in Dracoon. "Hey! I would've won if I had more time and you know it!" "Calm down both of you, I'm the only one with new moves so I should go." Dracoon and Origin both looked at the different looking Star and had questioning looks in their eyes. Each was skeptical over Star now. He had become stronger, but he was just a normal human now, how strong could he be? "I think you need a little more experience with your... new powers, I'm going to handle this one." Origin turned and began to walk out of the entrance, he looked towards the center and noticed someone standing there, but it was someone he'd never seen before. A girl that was only the age of 17 stood in the center of the arena, looking ready to fight. Origin knew that wasn't who he was supposed to fight and as soon as he took a step on the arena floor, a worker jumped out in front of him. "So sorry, someone has already been registered for this slot on your side, you'll need to wait till the next round if you want to participate." Origin looked at the worker, very confused. Who the hell could be qualified to fight the tournament in this slots name that he didn't know. Especially someone that was so young. "Can you at least tell me who?" The worker looked up as if Origin had said something stupid. "Her name is Stacice. I thought you'd been informed." "First time I've heard anything. Well might as well see what happens." The girl in the center of the ring just waited there, her dull eyes admiring how well the arena was put together. A nice stone square of tiles was set in the center that would work perfect for fighting. Nearby mounds of dirt and trees would make good cover, and all in all it looked like a perfect place to fight. |

| Meanwhile, Jarukoth does some prematch stretching in the locker room. As he prepares, Ada is listening to the conversation the Dracoon camp is having via her DiEn headset, while Shino looks over the official tournament rulebook... Shino: "WE CAN FIGHT!" Ada: "Mm?" Shino excitedly points to a passage in the book... Shino: "Right there! Page 32, Article 18, Paragraph 8. We can change out fighters between rounds!" Ada: "...Sounds fun. I wouldn't mind showing of some of my new skills." Shino: "You'll have to wait your turn, Adalicious. I call the next fight." Jarukoth: "What makes you think I'll even LET you, Shino?" Jarukoth gets up from his stretching, and looks at Shino with a serious expression on his face. Jarukoth: "I've been waiting a LONG time for this tournament, and I'm not stepping aside for anything." Shino: "Look, when you signed that sheet, you didn't just sign yourself up. You signed all three of us up. Besides, there's three with Dracoon's guys..." Ada: "...Actually, there's a fourth fighter, it seems. Her name's Stacice." Shino: "....." Ada: "........." Shino: "...........Is she hot?" Ada: "She's only 17." Shino: "Screw that, then. You can have her, J." Jarukoth: (Flatly) "Gee, thanks." Jarukoth looks at the clock. The match is about to begin. He activates the warp portal to the arena. Before he departs, he looks back at Ada and Shino. Jarukoth: "I'll tell you what. Depending on how this fight goes, I'll consider tagging one of you in...unless I face Kirbynite next. In that case, he's mine." Ada: "Sounds fair enough. Give 'em hell, tiger." Jarukoth smiles back at Ada, and then jumps through the portal. ------------------------------------------------------ The other end of the portal opens in the arena, as Rammstein's "Asche zu Asche" blasts through the stadium's speakers. Only a second passes before Jarukoth can be seen emerging from the dark void. The crowd cheers as the portal closes behind the DiEn warrior. Jarukoth draws his sword, and the crowd soon lowers it's noise to an excited murmur as the music stops. He briefly looks his opponent over before activating his Sharingan and assuming a fighting stance. He appears ready for her first attack, though his calm tone of voice would tend to argue otherwise... Jarukoth: "So, you must be Stacice, eh? I hope you've come ready to play..." ------------------------------------------------------- Shino: "Heh heh. He made a rhyme..." Ada: "Shh." |

| "...?" Stacice just looked at Jarukoth with a questioning look on her face. The person standing in front of her looked very strong and she could tell that he was ready to fight at his best. Stacice reached down for her long dagger and clenched her hand around it, but she didn't raise it. She let go of it and let her hands rest at her side. "Hmm... I'm not sure if I should say you are stronger than you look, or you look stronger than you are. Of course your music choice says the latter." Stacice ran forward and jumped into the air with a perfectly fluid movement. As she got closer to Jarukoth she put out a leg to kic Jarukoth in the face. Her metal boots shined in the sun as she got closer. Her facial expression and her eyes had a dull emotionless look, as if she wasn't competely focused on what was going on around her. "What an obvious openning move. She isn't going to last long." Dracoon, Origin, and Star were all sitting down and whatching the match. Dracoon and Origin both looked at Stacice with a lot of concentration. Star just looked at her rather bored. He could already tell how she was going to fight the match, and although it was a dangerous way, it just didn't seem interesting if he didn't have to guess. "I might have to agree with you. I can't detect any spiritual powers or any real magic powers. Her body doesn't really seem all that strong either." Origin and Dracoon looked at Star expecting him to say something. "What do you think Star?" "Well Dracoon, Origin, you are both doing something very stupid and I expected better from both of you. You'll just have to find out what I mean as the fight goes on." Dracoon and Origin both looked at Star for a second, but looked back towards the fight. |

| Thanks to Jarukoth's Sharingan foresight, he is able to catch Stacice by her leg rather easily. With a quick wind up spin, he tosses Stacice aside, hopefully before she can prepare a secondary attack. Jarukoth: "I wouldn't be so quick to underestimate. Plus, I don't believe musical taste has anything to do with fighting ability..." ------------------------------------------- In the locker room, Ada and Shino watch the action on a closed circuit monitor. Ada: "Odd girl...even her own teammates doubt her, save for one." Shino: "Hmm...If she's doing what I think she is, J could be in for a bit of a trip..." |

| Stacice seemed to stop in the air as she put her hands together and glowing orange energy appeared in them. "Hammer of Might!" Stacice brought her hands down as if she was swinging a hammer. The energy ball that was in her hand shot down towards Jarukoth, but before it even got to him, it exploded onto the ground in a five foot radius. "I didn't want to do that so quickly." Stacice fell onto her back, still being controlled by Jarukoth's throw and the Hammer of MIght not correcting her balance. She got up slowly, trying to see where Jarukoth went. The attack does do good damage, but isn't reliable against one opponet. "So she has a little more power than I thought. Still no scans can pick up what energy type she's using. She did get damaged by Jarukoth's attack badly though." Dracoon kept trying to analyze Stacice, confused about how she could be a fighter. "Heh. It's simple, her attacks require health to use. The more she uses the more she seems wounded. This fight won't be one sided, but unless Stacice kills herself, she has an upper hand. Using your own health can make someone's normal moves much more powerful." Star practically laughed. Stacice could use a whole lot of moves without a charge, but it would hurt her every time she did. It was a more suicidal technique than a smart one. |

| Ada: "Ahh. So that's her little trick." Shino: "Ok, so maybe I was wrong. But she DID seem to lull J into a false sense of security." ------------------------------------- Shino was right. The sudden blast had caught Jarukoth off guard for the moment, forcing him to flip backwards. Though he lands on his feet, his BioArmor seems a bit scuffed up from the blasts' debris. He looks back at the girl with a smile. Jarukoth: "Not a bad start. Let's keep it up, shall we?" Jarukoth quickly forms some shinobi-like hand seals. Behind him, a big chunk of earth erupts from the ground, and floats in midair. "Doton - Doryuudan!" [Earth Dragon Missile] The projectile forms a dragon-like shape, which almost appears to be alive and hissing at Stacice, seconds before the earthen dragon rockets itself straight at her. |

| "You expect to hit me with that?" Stacice wondered if there was some trick to the dragon, but she didn't have time to wonder now. She charged at it and as it got closer, she punched it right when it hit her. She could feel that it wasn't going to break with just her normal strength, although it felt like she broke her hand, and quickly put her foot against it. Slowly she slid on the arena floor, trying to ward off the attack and make sure her hand wasn't completely shattered. "Ok, so maybe that wasn't the best move... (damn that hurts)" Stacice pushed off from the rocket and into the air, she was haeding straight for Jarukoth with another kick aimed at his head. Right as she was about to get close to Jarukoth, she aimed her kick straight at the ground, landed and started to punch at Jarukoth. Stacice was hoping her little manuver would trick Jarukoth's gaurd and get a few free shots in. Dracoon looked at Stacice's hand from the stands. "I actually thought that was broken, looks like she was just faking it..." Star sighed as he watched the fight with bored eyes. |

| Ada: "Well, at least the girl still hasn't learned how Jarukoth's Sharingan works..." Shino: "Whatever. I STILL say that the girl is playing possum. He had better get his hits in pretty soon before she does..." ------------------------------------------- Regardless of what Stacice truly intended, Jarukoth was still able to see the punch coming, and catches her fist before she can do too much damage. He then lifts her up, and tosses her away, just like before. Jarukoth: "Ok, the warm up is over..." "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Within seconds, six fighting clones of Jarukoth emerge alongside him, drawing thier swords. Jarukoth: "....Let's go." ------------------------------------------- Ada: "Kage Bunshin already?" Shino: "...He must have heard me, then..." Ada: "You do realize the ComLinks are active, right?" Shino: "Uhh...yeah. I knew that." |

| "Well, this is going to get interesting..." Star, Origin, and Dracoon all watched intently as Stacice flipped in the air, landed, and looked at each of the Jarukoths. Stacice sighed as she reached down towards her long dagger. She clenched her fist on it and wondered if it was time to draw it yet. She still could do other things after all. She pulled her hand away from the long dagger and jumped into the air "Hammer of Might!" She slammed her fist down, not at one of the Jarukoths, but in the center of them all. As the blast hit the ground it exploded outward towards the Jarukoths. Stacice landed on the ground and jumped backwards, trying to get distance from any still moving Jarukoths. |

| As soon as they saw the attack coming, the Jarukoths flip backwards to dodge, but three of them get caught in the blast, destroying them. As smoke billows up from the remnants of the blast, a sound can be heard from beyond it. The sound seems like the fluttering of thousands of birds together... Suddenly, three Jarukoths erupt from the smoke, with thier right hands charged with enough energy that it creates the appearance that thier hand is crackling with electricity. They outstretch thier arms at Stacice as the they speed ever closer at her... "Chidori" [1000 Birds Fist] |

| "!?!" With next to no time to act, Stacice plants herself firmly on the ground and takes a direct hit to her stomach(all three attacks). She doesn't move though. She just stayed there for a second. She grabs the nearest Jarukoth's arm and brings her face up to look directly at him. Blood was on her lip from the impact from the attack. "You're strong... but that won't beat me!" Stacice threw his arm away and jumped back, long dagger in her hand. "Air Raid!" Stacice slashed upwards at all three of the Jarukoths. The slash was far to far away to actually hit, but little energy pellets began to shoot from the ground very fast, taking any of the Jarukoths that didn't dodge into the air. She slashed down and with this slash energy pellets shot down with it, but that wasn't the end. A few big energy blasts shot down creating explosions all along the ground of where the Jarukoths used to stand. OOC Another combo type move, but the first wave can miss and the second hit or the second miss and the fist hit type of thing. |

| The hail of energy blasts rain down upon the Jarukoths, instantly vaporizing all of them... But wait. Six Jarukoths were destroyed...weren't there seven? Suddenly, Jarukoth bursts from the ground behind Stacice. As he fully exposes himself from the ground, he swings at Stacice, and launches an explosive, and familiar, projectile at her... "Hammer of Might!!" --------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "The classic Kage Bunshin trick combined with the Sharingan. Not bad..." Shino: "Hmm. | Stacice was caught by surprise (again), but she knew how to block her own attacks. In a rush she threw her long dagger right into the ground. She held her hands together and jumped towards the attack. The Hammer of Might was right between Stacice and Jarukoth. "Sphere of Might!" Stacice stretched her hands apart and a sphere of energy reached outward. It was less concentrated than the Hammer of Might, but spins. Making most projectiles deflect. The attack didn't stop going when it hit the Hammer of Might though, it quickly deflected it and became bigger as it came close to Jarukoth, trying to bring him into its spin of energy. "Careful to use my attacks against me, I know how to block them!" "Oh great, another special attack, she is going to kill herself if she doesn't calm down on those." Origin looked worried about the fight. So far Jarukoth was winning and Stacice hadn't landed a good hit on him yet. "I don't think we have to worry about that. Her life force is one of the highest I've ever seen, she should be able to continue fighting for quite a while." Dracoon continued to scan the battle while Star just looked on. "I wish one of them would do something interesting..." Star noticed that nearby watchers were staring at Star, they all thought this battle had showed a great fight so far, hearing someone disagree to something like that seemed a little odd. |

It doesn't look like much his going to break that..." ------------------------------------------------ Jarukoth quickly flips backward in an effort to dodge Stacice's move, which continues to grow in size. Jarukoth quickly performs a few hand seals, and slams his hand on the ground... "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" [Summoning Skil] A dense cloud of fog gathers behind Stacice. Moments later, an imposing hockey masked figure steps out from the fog, brandishing a machete. The figure wastes litle time, and goes for a swing at Stacice. |

Stacice turns her head around, and as the machete swings down, she quickly leaps into the air, bringing the ball of spining energy with her, and does a back flip so the ball tore through the ground, right at the machete swinging demon. "Can't fight on your own Jarukoth?" Before the Sphere of Might even hits Jason, it disappears, leaving Stacice a little shocked. She lands gracefully, or as gracefully as she could, and starts to draw energy into herself. A symbol appears on the ground under her and she continues to hold a prayer like stance. "Efreet!" She throws her hands outward, and a giant of fire raises above her, swinging its giant sword at Jason. |

| Jarukoth: "This is my opening..." Jarukoth dashes at Stacice, and charges his hands with energy as he runs. When he gets right next to Stacice, he takes an unusual fighting stance... "Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou!!!" [64 Points of Divination] ----------------------------------------------------- Ada: "What the...!?! When did he learn the Juuken style?" Shino: "His Sharingan analyzed all the pure energy attacks Stacice did, and he learned it himself." Ada: "Then how can he seal up Stacice's energy if he doesn't have the Byakugan?" Shino: "He can't. Because he doesn't have it, all that is is just a series of 64 quick combo strikes dealing damage to the inner body and organs. He may call it the 64 Points, but it's just basic Juuken." Ada: "...Remind me again why YOU can't do that?" Shino: "I'm a halfling, and NOT a Hyuuga family member. It's not exactly a simple thing to learn..." |

| "Got ya!" Stacice turned to face Jarukoth, the giant now turning back around to face Jarukoth with her. As Jarukoth charged in and started to attack, Stacice abandoned her position, but Efreet stayed, and readied her fists. "Fist Flurry!" As Jarukoth attack, Stacice did like-wise, but she didn't try to just cancle out Jarukoth's attack, she tried to land her own, while he hit her. |

| As Jarukoth unleashed his assault, he realized that Stacice was attacking him right back. Instead of attempting to lay hits, he focuses on using his Juuken strikes to deflect Stacice's blows. On the 64th strike, he unleashes an extra burst of energy, pushing himself backward and creating some space. It is then when he looks up, and really gets a good look at the fire giant behind Stacice... Jarukoth: "...Oh crap! Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" Jarukoth slams his palm on the ground, and large cloud of smoke emerges behind him. When it all clears, a giant black rooster-like creature is visible behind Jarukoth. Jarukoth: "Hail to the king, baby...King Cucco, that is." ---------------------------------------------- Shino: "Well, now they both have giant summons. What now?" Ada: "I don't like to bet against a comrade, but I'm betting that Stacice will get a big fat check from Perdue in the near future..." Shino: "That isn't a chicken. That's a Cucco. BIG difference." | Efreet swung its sword at King Cucco, but as soon as the slash came down, hit or miss, the giant disappeared. Stacice wasn't surprised in the least, but she was somewhat mad. "Um....." Stacice tried to think of any possible counter measure that could bring Jarukoth to the ground, but she couldn't think of one. "I hope this works!" Stacice jumped backwards, grabbing her dagger and pointed it outward. "Flying Gullotine!" Stacice slashes outwards and two huge boomerang type blades fly at Jarukoth and Kind Cucco, assuming it survived, just as the first one was half way out, a second one flew from Stacice. The aura around the giant boomerang blades made them appear black, but they weren't designed to just hurt someone. They were designed to hurt them, and deplete their magic. |

| Shino: "TAKE COVER!" ---------------------------------------------- Before Shino's words could even be recognized, Jarukoth had already taken off running. He dives behind King Cucco, who is already injured from the Efreet's strike. The blades collide with the King Cucco directly, which forces the Cucco to upchuck a rather large...egg? In any case, the massive egg flies in Stacice's general direction, thouhg obviously not well aimed... Jarukoth holds his ears... Jarukoth: "EGG BOMB!" |
