Yes, "The Matrix Reloaded" IS the name of the second movie, and the 3rd movie (Revolutions) is by far worse. While the second movie is flat out mediocre with one of the slowest first halves I've ever seen in a movie, period, the third flick is bad, and by "bad", I mean like insultingly bad. Most movies I have a disliking for I could at least say they were entertaining at some parts, but this I can't even say I liked certain parts of it. There was one enjoyable fight scene (at the end, with Neo fighting Agent Smith) in the whole entire movie, which, even there, it had a couple (very serious) flaws, mainly realism. Double back flips? Raindrops splurting from their fists as they punch eachother? Agent Smith flying? WTF?! Horrible, horrible mess that should not, in any way, shape, or form, be continued. The Matrix, as a trilogy, is DONE, as it very well should be. The original was the only good one in that series.

Yeah, my favorite part of Reloaded was at the end, when it said "To Be Continued...", immediately followed by some guy in the theater screaming out "WHAT???".

You're right about the slow start; they kept on teasing the audience with what the film could potentially be, but there was just way too much endless and totally meaningless dialogue that just became agonizing to watch before too long. Then the movie finally picks up during the last 10 minutes, only to have it end right in the middle of it, and I guess they thought that's all they needed to get people to watch part three, but I wasn't gonna let them play me like that. I just cut my losses and refused to watch anymore of the series. I noticed a lot of unhappy faces coming out of that movie theater, and I was relieved to find out that it wasn't just me.

I think the Matrix could have done just fine if they'd never even bothered to make a second or third one. I mean, while the other two included some nice effects and a few other strong points, they were really unnecessary and ended in a lot of dissapointment.

I'm fairly glad about the fact that The Cable Guy hasn't been mentioned so far. I mean, yeah, it wasn't too great of a film, but it certainly didn't deserve the rap it got. I actually kinda liked it. And, really, where can you go wrong with Jim Carrey covering a Jefferson Airplane song?

Personally, I didn't think The Ring was worth a damn. But that's me. In it's defense, I'll point out that I see the general entirety of horror/thriller/whatever films as being utter and complete crap. That said, The Ring was relatively good.

I dislike Ghibli movies . Feeders seems pretty awful too.. and pr0n usually lacks any kind of story (and thusly sucks.. it does serve its purpose though).

Well, I can honestly say the worst movie I've seen was this one movie on MST3K. It was about some guy called Space Cheif. During one sequence where space cheif was to of jumped a great height up to his opponent you could clearly see it was a doll being pulled upward by a wire. One of the worst parts was all the aliens were ugly guys with big beak like noses. They all wore jumpsuits and for some reason none of them were wearing underwear. PLus it had a hella lot of boring scenes which even the commentary from the MST3k couldnt make fun.

Otherwise, the worst modern movie I've seen was probably Double Dragon. I could get into SMB movie in some ways cause it was still a fun movie despite its poor transition. However, Double dragon felt B-movie all the way. Plus they messed up the storyline of the games terribely. They were supposed to be kickass martial artist who got their strength solely from thier training. But the movie tries to say that their strength is reliant on a amulet. There really wasn't alot of fight scenes I seen that I could buy as genuine. Scott wolf was trying to be the comic relief but he was given pretty bad lines. Plus I can't really buy him as a fighter either. The other double dragon did seem to have some genuine skills tho. As a fighter he's great. His acting ain't anything to write home about tho.

Was I the only one who thought Men in Black 2 was a major let down? The first was pretty cool, but the second...it seemed too short, and rather pointless, and the ending just...bugged me, it just left me thinking "wtf". I dunno...others have liked it, maybe its just me
