I've looked at both the sprite editors, and I was a bit dissapointed that the things I wanted to edit weren't available for editing. This is just me being picky because it's great that sprite editing has finally become non-sacred and people are making tools for it.

But, I'd really like something for editing weather or not you can drill jump on things. I'm thinking specifically of the grinders and fire-related enemies here. I always thought it was kinda silly that spinning around would save you from spinning blades or fire and wanted to disable that in my next game.

Also I was hoping for something to edit the various speed and acceleration values for sprites (and perhaps Mario) but I guess that is not really sprite editing but data editing (and I'm sure there's some info on this in another thread which I'm going to look for before the day is done).

The stuff that you want to do is in the Code of the Sprites. The programs that are around only edit certain attributes that were not normally included in the Code of the Sprite (because Nintendo wanted to set some of those attributes up that way).

I'm currently learning how to program, so in some amount of time, I will write a program that will edit all of this stuff (but don't expect it for a while,... probably 3-5 months).

Right now, the only Sprite that is documented with the stuff you desire, is the Rex Sprite (only because I changed a bunch of switches/settings in the Programming at random, and documented it,... and that was quite a while ago, so I didn't even understand much of what I was doing)

The Document should be pretty easy to understand.
(there's some other stuff included, but just look under the "Rex to Goomba" section)

When I have time, I will learn the 65816 language and make a document of how to minipulate the Code of the Sprites (and after I learn C++, I will make a program)

That's good news, although by the time your project is finished it'll be to late for this particular game I'm making... Thanks for the link. Y'know, I could have sworn Anikiti knew where all the speed stuff was because he made the angry Wigglers go really fast and stuff like that.

Yea, I remember hearing about that too (though if I was bored enough I could just change Bytes at random and see the different effects,... but I think I'll just wait until I understand the language first).

Well, right now I've got school taking up most of my time, but I'll make some progress on this in a while (I've already learned most of the Programming Logic, I just need to learn which Instructions do what [mostly just a little studying and remembering], and learn a couple of odd things here and there).
