| Well there this uhhh well... Bare with me people I'm alittle shy and embarrassed to talk about this. uhhh well there this girl at my school in my school and I didn't really notice her till about November where she stopped me in hall right where i go to my class 5th period. Well she only wanted to say hi. I said hi to but I was running alittle late so I couldn't really say anything Else. Well I forgot about her for about a week or just Little bit over. But just over then I noticed that she was in the same lunch period as I was. When I noticed that she would go up and get a drink from the fountain. Well that sounds that normal right? A person needs to go get a drink you would go get one. Thats not what I'm talking about though. See would go get one but then stare at me for a moment. Well at first I just kinda thought to myself that was cute and so fourth. But weeks past and see still does it and even one time she sat to a table more closer to where I sat. Now I'm not saying that I don't want her to stare at me. The problem is more me now. I would like to get to know her. As I said up there I'm REALLY shy in front of girls and I would have talked to her but I can't. Now many of you are probably call me a coward but guess what? I am! ha ha.... Well back to the story. Anyway I was thinking about doing something...  anything to talk to her without really talking I know if I would get my tounge twisted or something. I was think about writing a note to her asking about who she is, and if she would mind to come over to my table for a lunch period. Anyways I don't know if I should do that though. I don't know if the girl would find a jerk or what. So what do you guys and gals think? |

There's no shame in being shy in front of girls, or anyone else. It's all happened, or will happen to us at least once in our lives, so don't think you're the only one  Writing a note is probably your best bet if you don't feel comfortable going right up and talking to her. At the worst, she could reject your offer, but you'd at least know you did what you felt comfortable with. Not to say that's going to happen though. If you ask me, I don't see why things wouldn't go fine. I'd like to say, if she always stares at you after she gets her drink, she must know you're noticing her, and is at least curious about you. Writing a note would allow you to explain what's going on to her, how you're shy and such, and as you said, get her to come over to your table at lunch so you might be able to talk. On the subject of talking, you shouldn't be worried about talking funny. Simply put, if you worry about what's going to happen, things won't go good. The best advice I can give you in that respect is to just be yourself  Another thing you could do is talk to one of her friends about it, if you know them, and see if they could give you any help as to getting to know her better. Once again, being shy, or in your words, a coward doesn't make you any less of a person, so don't let that get the best of you. |

| I'll agree with Karadur in regards to the indirect communicating. Shady, I'll have you know that I'm going through nearly the exact same thing that you're speaking of; I'm a really shy person and I'm even worse around girls. So, yeah. Try sending her a note if you aren't comfortable speaking to her. |

| Well the plan was to get in to school early and drop then note with her knowing but I would leave as fast as a could and go to class and see what happens. Well what happen today is I was ready early but my mom loves her coffie so much that I ended up BARLY not late to my class. So after that I chickened out for the rest of the day. Go figure huh? Anyways the note is still fresh so im gonna try agian tomarow and see what happens then. | |||

| ANYTIME an interesting girl shows interest in you, talk to her. If you're simply walking in the halls, and you feel like you'll choke to death if you were to utter a word, just smile and wave. It's not hard. Otherwise, it'll get old for her and she'll move on. Try sitting in the same table. You don't have to talk to her then, just let her notice you. Then the next time, be ready, and talk to her. |

| Its not a bad idea really. Well on a update today we had our school cancel today from the big bad TERRIBLE 2 inches of snow so i couldnt do anything today. Maby tommarow school wont get cancel and I can say somthing to her. I'm starting to get the guts to do somthing |

| Well did she say anything about her noticing you, like when she looked at you? Well thats messed up, just being "friends" you must of did somthin wrong the note thing was the wrong way of going with it. |
