| I'm having a small problem with the board, apparently when I log in to this board everything seems fine at first, but when I go to another forum to post a topic or to read a private message it logs me out! but when I go back to the main page it says I'm logged in... can someone please tell me whats going on ? also I using my mom's dell to post this. Hmm. The only thing I can think of that would be causing that is not having cookies enabled on that computer  If you're using Firefox, go to 'Tools'->'Options'->'Privacy'. Expand the Cookies part, and see if the 'Allow sites to set cookies' box is checked. If you're using Internet Explorer, go to 'Tools'->'Internet Options'->Privacy tab. Click the 'sites' button, put the address of the board in the textbox, and click 'Allow'. That should work, if cookies are what's causing you're problem, but if not, I'm not sure what is  You could pressing [CTRL]+[F5], to force the page to refresh. That just loads everything as if you were visiting the page for the first time, and doesn't take anything from the cache, to my understanding. |

| You aren't logging in by just putting in your name and password when you post are you? That doesn't actually log you in, it just posts with the account. (Yes, it's confusing. ) Otherwise, make sure the cookies aren't blocked and try clearing the cache. |

| No I'm not logging in when I post a reply...... when I am at the main index site I log on and it says that I am now logged on ,but when I move to another forum say like... rom hacking, it will log me out for no good reason, but when I go back to the main site I am still logged in, but what really pisses me off is when I go to check my private messages it logs me out without a prompt and on the page I get a MySQL error. Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on.....? |

| Good news I fixed the problem....! the main source of the problem was with Zone alarm it was blocking cookies from this site and several othera so I decided to ban it from my PC. Now Norton Internet security 2005 won't be fighting with zone alarm to decide which firewall gets to block certain programs and spyware from accesingthe net ! Good riddens to you zone alarm..... MadMikeXP p.s. don't ask why I had 2 Fire walls running..... I had to do this for serious matters on this PC. |

| Sometimes it happens but when I loggen on this forum and this other forum I am still logged on with both of them even if I go back and forth usually I the login stays on forever or someone just logs off automatically maybe. |
